Such a beautiful place with very friendly people. Nice local scenic walks, I would definitely visit again.
Lovely location staff were very helpful. Locals were very friendly and accommodating. Accommodation was modern, clean and comfortable. Just a little problem with the TV but that was rectified. Some of the stairs to the Villas might be too much to negotiate for the disabled or elderly. Thanx to James for sorting out the parking having hurt my leg so couldn't walk too far. There was a beach area with a splendid view of Loone island, with surfing and night finishing.Cafe bar on the beach front with some pretty good food and dog friendly if you have a dog/s. Recommended for anyone to stay great location and lots of places to visit. Will definitely stay again.
Beautiful location, accommodation is good, there’s a restaurant that serves basic food and pizza place where pizzas are delicious. I’d be surprised if the bar makes much money. People were walking away because the bar staff kept disappearing.
Absolutely beautiful location with a lovely cafe and bar. All the staff are friendly and positive and the evening entertainment was an unexpected bonus. Exciting to see the plans for the future of the site.
Nice beach.But even the toilets were closed when we went, admittedly it was February.But who locks up the toilets? Nice beach,big car park and some on street parking.Beach cafe looks good, but not open every day of the week.
Lets start with the good, the view was fantastic and initially we were so impressed but it stops there. When you look a little deeper you see dirt and broken fittings. Many of which have been mentioned before such as seats with loose bolts and dangerous. On day one we spotted a dead seagull on a terrace below us right in our direct view. We asked for this to be attended to many times, three weeks later when we left early, it was still there. However a more serious issue was we had a cleaner arrive to change the bedding after the first week, my wallet was inside a bedside cabinet draw, he changed the bedding in one room then the next. We were in the place the whole time eating our lunch. 10 minutes after he left, my wallet was found in the other bedroom on a shelf now empty of the cash. We immediately informed the management who apparently asked the cleaner about it and they were happy with his answer of he knew nothing. We tried to speak to the managers one of the few times any staff can be found on site and they did not want to know. There is a total lack of management on this site or even staff. Read the past reviews and nothing is changing. There are many easy fixes here that are not being addressed. We booked through Hoseasons and despite emailing twice, have yet to receive a response from them too. I have had many holidays through Hoseasons and this is the first I have ever had to say anything bad.
Location was fantastic. Sea views are superb with only a 2 minute walk to the beach. The apartment was perfect for a family of 4 with a great balcony. Highly recconended.
The flats were small but lots of them have big balconies. The view is amazing you look out onto the beach. The only downside is that in some flats you need to pay for electricity usage.
This has been our family holiday destination for over 35 years. It has so many memories for us and we still visit now with our own children. Only downside is I wish there was more to do for kids like when we were younger, such as the family club with entertainment and a swimming pool so there was something to do on colder days and maybe a little shop. But we love the villas and the beach, and the beach bar is great we still love it and come back each year
