My niece and I came here to check out the new brunch menu and loved it. The food is delish, portions are huge and the decor is fun. The owner and staff were friendly and we’re now fans who will be back. Just look at the stunning food! @thefemalephysicist on Instagram

First time visiting here and we will definitely be back! The food was stunning and so filling, you really do get what you pay for. The atmosphere was lovely and the staff were super helpful and friendly!

Having read some of the negative reviews I’m a little apprehensive to leave as worried about the response. But these reviews are meant for good and bad- and as a business you should be able to take these on the chin and respond in a civilised manner. I booked in for the new afternoon tea Fat-Facher 2.0 for my partners birthday. Soon after arrival we were given 2 plates each before the food arrived- all 4 were dirty and returned back To the kitchen, could only get better, right. Not the best start. Food arrived. Looked nice, although not as nice as pictures on their socials advertising the new afternoon tea (see the difference in my Photos!) A little underwhelmed. One thing food looking awesome but also needs to taste it too. Smoked belly bacon could have been cooked a little longer for my liking. Both me and my partner really didn’t like the Hashie Tater tots, bland and tasteless. Also felt the garlic bread hot dog was dry and bland. £40 per person, plenty of food but some of it lacking flavour. Burger was lovely, as was the spring roll and croissant. We took away our dessert as couldn’t manage it- looked lovely. Hope it’s tastes nice! 3rd trip here, 2nd visit was also disappointed. Poached eggs were so vinegary I had to leave it (I DM’d them privately about this- and did receive a nice/concerned, polite response- asking me to return and try again, which obvs I have!) Very very poor ventilation (Thought this previous times too). Door had to remain open most of the time otherwise seemed smoky in there. For people sat by the door, not ideal as obviously cold. Our clothes and hair absolutely saturated in the smell of fried food upon leaving. Adequate fans in the kitchen would help Kick some of that smell out. Sadly I don’t think we will be back. However- maybe we have just had bad luck as the place was very busy, having to turn away atleast 3 tables while we were there, they must be doing something right. But for us, not this time (or last time) :(

One of our favourite places to have brunch! The menu is brilliant - so much variety and the portions are huge. Such a great team, we’ve become regulars to the point where the team recognise us ha! Highly recommend if you want delicious food and great service.

We had brakefast here today. Saw it online and the food looked to good to miss out on and all i can say is it 100% did. All the food was fresh and packed with flavour the staff are very friendly and chilled out vibe in side. Defenetly not a place to miss if you are near.

This is a superb find. Good restaurants/café's/bars should be all about the produce. You can the fanciest furniture, and best decor, but if what you serve is mediocre, then it's all for nothing. My friend told me about this gem, and I visited knowing nothing about it. It's a small café that doubles as a restaurant come 5pm. The menu is modestly sized, with some specials on the wall, but it's all very interesting and exciting. My last visit was a very tough choice between the brunch burger and the pancakes. The noises coming from the table opposite about the pancakes were certainly an endorsement. But I went for the burger, and soon I was making involuntary approving noises of my own. The food is excellent, I'm having pancakes on my next trip, the staff are friendly, relaxed (but still professional), and the chef's/owners enthusiastic about good food, done well. This place alone is worth the trip to Aberkenfig.
