   Have used Hughes for the last 10 years plus. Never any problems until recently with LG 48 inch Tv? It developed a fault on the screen of ghosting or screen burn. Tried to get rid of it with using pixel cleaning but did not clear the problem. LG would not deal with it. However Hughes said that if checked and still a fault would replace with equivalent TV on 2 December. Went to store to choose a replacement (twice ) but was told could not be replaced. This a 4 year old top qualityTV.! 4 engineers have visited 2 per visit.They said would check at their workshop to see if could solve the problem and leave a loan TV. The latter was faulty as well ! So still not resolved and no one seems to take a grip. Lost my temper once for which I apologised.

   I would like to take this opportunity to express my deepest gratitude and appreciation to a certain Nick Loose whom I spoke to at Ipswich call centre just now . I was very stressed about getting my wash machine redelivered and installed by an independent plumber after the other men tried to deliver few days ago. But Nick put my mind at ease immediately and sorted out redelivery refund to just the elements of the original sale of my wash machine. To me sooo confusing , to Nick no problem at all he smoothly and efficiently handled the situation and resolved all my concerns . Nick is an extremely friendly and helpful young man who has a charming personality that calms people like me and he’s certainly dedicated to solving the problem no matter the extra mileage he has to .    I love Hughes. Great customer service! I had a problem with a microwave and Sidney in customer services sorted it out straight away and ordered me a replacement. This shop still has old fashioned values that actually care about its customers which is rare nowadays. All my white goods come from this shop.

   I had an issue with my washing machine this morning previously rented from Hughes long story short I fixed the two problems that I started with but caused a bigger problem (flooding the floor) I called Hughes to get advice on a engineer and prices, I spoke to the lovely Courtney who was amazing with her advice support and encouragement I could fix it myself and guess what I did.. silly me I hadn’t fully tied the drainage cap back on like Courtney suggested! Massive relief I’ve fixed it! This women will not be defeated! Washing machine 0 - 1 Kellie. Happy to have my machine working again!

   Free car park, managed to get a spot right outside the door. Just browsing for kitchen appliances and normally when a member of staff asks if i need any help I say no, just looking. But this time I said yes. He was really helpful, very knowledgeable and what he didn't know he found out.

   After my mum was let down by b&q and curry's atrocious customer service I called Hughes to purchase a replacement dishwasher. Theresa couldn't have been more friendly and helpful both on the phone and in person and all staff were excellent helping me to select and load the dishwasher into my car. Mum was delighted and will definitely be shopping at Hughes from now on

   This is less a tech store than it is a television and fridge store. All the teles were nice and cleanly displayed. There was a decent range of kitchen appliances. They had a variety of chromebooks and a handfuls of laptops. However, for any people like me, the pc accessories were slacking and the ipad selection was almost 2 years old.

   We have used the Hughes Smart team on a number of occasions and can not fault them both in their pre-sales consultation service, through the install period and then post installation with tweaks and adjustments as these type of installs always require. Great team and a pleasure to work with, we can not recommend enough.
