   Receipt no. 062132014976 We went into the Rushden lakes store today and just wanted to say Ruby was an absolute credit to the store. she helped us get our 1 year 2month olds first shoes and she was absolutely brilliant with him, so patient and interacting with him talking to him, sizing him and helping him walk around to try the shoes and even brought a selection so he could choose the colour in my opinion she went above and beyond with customer service. She asked us what type we wanted eg. Wide toebox etc and she went off to find what would be good for his feet shape etc. I would highly recommend anyone looking for baby shoes to be served by her, we would request that she receives some sort of acknowledgement for her amazing customer service.

   I had a really disappointing and upsetting experience at the Schuh store in Rushden Lakes. I visited with my 90-year-old grandmother, who has dementia, and although she kept repeating that she was a size 7, we were trying to handle the situation as calmly and respectfully as possible. While we were being assisted, a staff member who I believe may be a manager named Kayleigh (the name was called out after the bell rang and she responded) walked over to a colleague (tall, brunette, with a beard) and said loudly and dismissively, “Ugh, how many times is she going to ask, Jesus. This woman is really annoying me.” Luckily, my grandmother didn’t hear, but I did, and it was incredibly upsetting. For a store that promotes itself as inclusive and customer-focused, this was extremely disappointing and hypocritical. There’s no excuse for mocking or speaking about customers, especially vulnerable ones, like that. I’ll be shopping elsewhere from now on. That level of rudeness and lack of compassion is not acceptable.

   I was ignored by 3 members of staff when I entered, all though other, younger people all got a ,"hello". I'm an older woman, and can only assume I was of no interest. I picked up a few trainers and was then approached by a young man who came from the rear of the store. He was polite and apologised for the behaviour of his colleagues. He asked one of the 3 staff standing by the doors for advice on a specific feature of the trainers to help me make my choice. I am pleased with the trainers I purchased and it is thanks entirely to this young man, Vlad, that I didn't walk out of the store after 5 minutes to make my purchase elsewhere. 3 stars - 5 Stars for Vlad, zero for for the 3 'greeters' at the door.

   I rarely leave reviews but the customer service at Schu, Rushden Lakes is exceptional. From our point at entry (on a super busy Saturday), we were attended to almost immediately by a friendly staff member who measured all three of my children for school shoes. Another lovely staff member went on to supply us with no less than 5 different pairs for selection, and thoroughly checked the fit too. We left the store only to return about an hour later when a third member of staff processed the sale. Every single person was so incredibly friendly , welcoming and attentive. Customer service levels you’ll rarely find elsewhere… absolute breath of fresh air! Thank you!

   Helpful staff, nice store. No complaints other than you can find a lot of what they sell cheaper online. Personally just use this store to try on shoes in person before buying online for like 20% cheaper.

   Christmas shopping and went in here to look at Dr Martens with my wife for my Xmas prezzy, came out with a great value pair of latest design boots. Staff were very friendly and helpful and went the extra mile with no sales pressure.

   Very helpful staff in store and online managed to get the Mrs exactly what she wanted in store even though online did say out of stock in her size. Everyone was helpful plus I signed up and got a £5 discount. Bonus.
