   We held our staff party here and had a private room with our own bar, which was fantastic. The food was amazing, and the bar service was excellent. Sophie looked after us extremely well throughout the evening. The only slight negative was that the bar closed earlier than expected, which meant our staff party was cut short. I believe the bar closed at around 10:30pm, and we had to leave by 11:00pm.

   I would just like to say that our Christmas Day dinner was superb , we arrived to a warm and friendly welcome , the atmosphere was wonderful, the restaurant looked so beautiful with all the decorations. But I have to mention the staff and food was outstanding. The Christmas pudding was the best we had ever tasted and the whole experience of our day was nothing short of perfect . Thank you for a wonderful day , we will be back and we highly recommend this place .

   Fab location and a fun Xmas Night , great effort with lights, sally Army and Carols. Thought that was all brilliant. Chef food was very tasty but come on the portions are far too small especially for the price, that party all of our party of 6 were disappointed with the food.

   Despite the rain, another great festive evening to get you in the Christmas spirit. Staff friendly and welcoming, service great, food, as always, delicious and parking sorted out. We were direct just up the hill to park (less than a minute) and followed by a mini van that then dropped back to join in the fun. When we were ready to leave the chap drove us back to get our car. Worked really well and meant no cars parking in the narrow roads. Well done Tottington!

   We had an impromptu bar lunch here. Dog friendly. Gorgeous soup, tasty braised venison and focaccia bread which was honestly the best I've ever tasted..honey and fennel seeds. Lovely woodland walks around. Will now plan to come back

   Booked 3 rooms for those whom stayed and a table for 9 people for Christmas party night dinner. We all had a wonderful night. Hotel management and staff were all first class with nothing too much trouble. The food was lovely with no complaints from any of our group. The bedrooms were clean, tidy with lovely comfortable beds. Full English breakfast was also great with quality ingredients, butcher’s sausage’s, large mushrooms, black pudding and bacon. All looked perfectly. Great night and stay. Thank you

   We needed two rooms (for one night.) My daughter had a smaller but "refurbished" room, and we ended up in a larger ("superior") room, which was considerably more expensive. so imagine our surprise to find ourselves in a worn out room with peeling wallpaper, damaged paintwork, and a bathroom with a dilapidated window that couldn't be closed. When I complained I was told that the superior rooms were awaiting refurbishment, and eventually given a 10% discount on the room rate (£168) A request for the Manager to call us about this elicited no result.
