   The vets are themselves fine in our experience. They are rather let down by their admin and accounts staff who frequently get confused and charge the wrong amounts for things like payments for medicine subscriptions. I’ve had endless WhatsApp messages and phone calls trying to get to the bottom of charges and overcharges, being told what the previous person told me was wrong etc. it’s just not worth the hassle.

   Plenty of choice for variety of pets. Although I didn't use the services, there is a grooming parlour and a pet clinic. Staff are helpful. Only criticism is the parking spaces are 'snug'.

   When I bought a clumping cat litter, I told a staff about the inconsistent quality of it (sometimes it's not clumping well), and she said, I can come back and take my receipt for a refund, in case... I came back two days later with my receipt and the packaging (only) of the litter because it wasn't clumping as expected. The young staff (different staff from that day I bought the litter) consulted the manager. The manager said that the quality of the product I purchased was good and he checked the empty packaging saying, "Where's the litter?!" Frustrated and disappointed, I told them I won't waste my time coming back to the shop if the quality of the litter was good and that I was only following what the other staff told me the when I bought the product. After receiving my refund, I went home, packed the used, poorly clumping litter in a bin bag and returned it to Pets At Home.

   Came for the first time today as was in the area. My daughter wanted to look at the rabbits and fish. We also needed cat food. The cat section is quite large and spread out but easy to find everything you need. Pets to buy are at the front of the store. Vets is at the back. Was surprised to see a dog grooming shop as the Salhouse Road branch doesn't have one. Would prefer the vets to be upstairs (like Salhouse road) as the space was very little and felt crowded when browsing cat food.

   This pets at home is the same as the others. Well lit, well signed, organised. Things are fairly easy to find depending what your looking for. I was getting cat nip for my furry grandson (daughters cat) as he LOVES it. As you can see he is laying in his tube with it all over the place. And for £10 its a big tub. Also got this little skineeze mouse for £3. It has catnip in it, but you can't refill it which was disappointing. But Ziggy loves it so its not a waste. The staff were friendly & we weren't having to wait long to be served. Would I use this shop again?? YES

   The lady helping us buy our rats was incredibly knowledgeable, back up everything I had been reading about online. Made sure we had everything we needed to help look after our rats, really got the impression that she cared about them a lot. A very happy customer and very happy rats.
