Food has always been great. The team made us feel very welcome. *important* They open throughout the afternoon, which made a late work lunch / do feasible. (Many restaurants in the area close between lunch and dinner service).

My first time trying lebanese food at Beirut and it was amazing. I loved everything about it from the friendly welcoming staff to the atmosphere in the restaurant. The food was delicious and every dish was cooked beautifully. I will definitely be going back next time we come to visit our daughter

Totally satisfying dining experience for our first Lebanese meal experience in Oxford. Probably our first Lebanese restaurant who served beer, wine, prosecco and even cocktails. Hummus we had were nicely done with tasty lamb. Chicken Shawarma we had are having a crunchy wraps with very tender and juicy meats. Salmon fillet too were fresh with nicely done salads and side. All the meats for mixed grill such as chicken, lamb and vegetables are very good too. Kind of love the condiments they served here which is a bonus on top of food we are having. The place is always occupied so please be prepared to do reservation or popped in early (like us) for a very fond dining experience. Recommended.

Beirut deserves more stars than I am able to give. The service is possibly some of the best I have ever received in a restaurant, the water was continually replenished and we were given free olives, bread and hummus because there was a slight mishap in the kitchen which more than made up for the slight wait. I had the mixed grill and the meats were very tender and juicy. We had the baklava and ice cream for pudding which was delicious and I would highly recommend. We will most definitely be back here and bring our friends because it was so so good.

Short walk (8 mins) from the JR (hospital) where they don’t serve hot food after 4pm! The place was full. They kindly squeezed me in. Funny and friendly staff. Food was excellent. Had mixed grill (pictured). I was a single person walk in. The place is only small, so suggest you book. Very worth a visit.

Ordered the veggie meze platter and it was one of the nicest meals I've ever eaten. Service was 10/10 too, would recommend to anybody!

We had a nice dinner here. Can recommend the mixed starter and grill platter to have a nice variety of dishes to try from. Staff is friendly and overall atmosphere good. Also have a look at desserts for some lebanese treats to suit your sweet tooth.

Beirut is one of those truly hidden gastronomic gems, offering those who cross it’s threshold an unforgivable experience. The excellent quality of the food and the atmosphere of the restaurant take one on a journey to the far away reaches of the Middle East. The tastes of the food and of the deserts are astonishing, and the staff extremely friendly and accommodating. A true hidden gem restaurant, that I recommend one should try out when visiting or going out in Oxford.

Lovely Christmas dinner at Beirut. Generous set meal with a veg mezze platter, a largish portion of mains and a dessert platter with a selection of cold and hot desserts washed down with a drink. Service is warm and friendly, the host kind and the place cozy. Be about 30 covers indoors. Can definitely see myself going back a couple of times more just to try out the various dishes as the salmon dish I ordered was bit underwhelming (bland) but the lamb and mix grills were good. The Beirut beer was nice!
