I had an issue and Ella and Kacie were amazing sorting it out. Went completely above and beyond and really cared - great customer service I really hope they get recognised for this as they’ve kept a customer instead of loosing one!
I had visited today in river island in oracle reading the staff was very unfriendly and not focused on work I bought a handbag today and they didn’t remove the sensor I was very disappointed and they just talking laughing while having customer service
I had had the most awful experience with River island today . I bought 3 tops 3 days ago . 2 of the tops were fine so I kept it but the 3rd one had lose treads which I explained when I was talking to the store manger Ayse . She didn’t greet me and was rude from the start . Her customer services was out of order and started just shouting without listening to my concern . I have worked in retail for 15 years and never experienced such a rude behaviour . Clearly she needs to rethink her role as store manager. Will never go there again .
@everyone - please check your each items while billing, if they are billing the right item, with correct item code(they assume that's also our responsibility). They mix and bill different item codes just to match the price ,then put the security tag on item, and then blame you when you come back to remove the tag. Very nice products but very poor store experience. They embarrass the customer, even one of the lady next to me in queue had similar experience, they even go to check camera and are you feel more embarrassed publicly. Shame on the way you spoil our shopping mood and experience.
I recently visited the River Island store and was impressed by the wide variety of styles and fabrics they offered. The store had a trendy and organized layout, making it easy to navigate. The staff was friendly and helpful, providing assistance without being pushy. Prices were reasonable, and they had frequent sales, making it budget-friendly. Overall, I have a positive shopping experience with a great selection and excellent customer service.
Went in the shop around 11 am on June 29 (top floor) and asked a member of staff if they would measure my son's waist etc. She went to get a tape measure then came back and said I needed to go downstairs myself to get one as there wasn't one upstairs. What kind of customer service is that? We walked out and spent plenty of money in Next and H & M, where staff were friendly and helpful.
This is a good shop with nice looking items. I have recently bought a beautiful jacket which was reasonably prices. Nice place to look for something you have in your mind.
The staff members are very helpful and friendly. I bought a shirt and coat in Milton Keynes shopping mall and the staff at MK forgot to give me discount. The shirt is not right size. But the staff member at Reading River Island is very helpful and she refunded my discount amount of 15 Pounds and exchanged the shirt.
I was served by a young girl who was studying at Reading collage and she only just started at River island Oracle She helped me find a dress I was looking for to go to the races next Sat she was very helpful and friendly and very chatty her name was Katie please send on my thank you. Wish there was more people like her. In other shops in the Oracle
