   On Boxing Day, we visited Schuh to purchase shoes for my daughter. We were served by Ryan who made our shopping experience very easy and stress-free. He was happy to assist with any questions we had and went above and beyond in the level of service he provided. We are very pleased with our experience and would like to express our gratitude to Ryan.

   I had a very disappointing experience at the Reading town centre store. I visited with my 2 year old son to check his shoe size so we could order online. As we were about to leave, an employee named George told us, “Can you clear the mess you did back there?” Despite the fact that we had already put back the few shoes we looked at, and the store was messy even before we arrived. No other customers were asked to do the same, which made us feel unfairly singled out. As a family of Asian-Indian heritage, this felt like racial profiling, which was upsetting and unacceptable. This experience has left us disheartened. I will no longer be shopping at this store or online until the company addresses this behaviour and ensures all customers are treated fairly.

   I’ve visited this shoe shop twice, and both times left me feeling like I should stay away. The first visit was last year. A young man with brown hair and dark eyes was polite and professional, but when it came to paying, the young woman at the till seemed completely disinterested. She didn’t smile at all and gave the impression that customers weren’t welcome in the shop. The second visit was earlier this year. There were no staff members in the children’s section, so we waited for a while before someone finally came to help. Meanwhile, three members of staff were standing around chatting, and only one young woman was actually running around trying to assist customers. Overall, the shopping experience at this store has been very disappointing. I now avoid going in altogether — even walking past the shop makes me feel uncomfortable. I can not believe they have 4.2 on google.

   Awesome staff, great store. Family friendly, really happy with my purchase been eyeing up some terrain converse for ages and was gladly surprised to see Schuh had them. Staff were very friendly with ordering for collection in store as they were out of stock. Hopefully I may get some more in the future as they looked great quality and I love them for cycling in and casual wear. Staff were very helpful and professional, sometimes I had trouble understanding what was said to me but generally happy with the result!

   Some nice staff but a bit political in the wrong place. I was chatting about the male and female ranges of timberland boots to be told they are gender neutral now. In fact timberland men's boots have a heavier heel and wider fit, there is a difference between them. Leave politics our of shoes please.

   Never thought I would leave a review for a shoe shop but Danica really made my day. I went in to grab some shoes for my sisters birthday and Danica was just too lovely. Super friendly and attentive. We started to speak about my work as well as hers. It just felt super comfortable. I left with shoes and a smile.

   Very good choice of trainers, and designers shoes. The staff is very helpful and nice, you don't wait to try on any item. You can find very trendy kid's trainers. The wide range of trainers, sports or fashion, is great. And I'm becoming very fond of not having to wait to pay thanks to the card terminal the saling people carry with them.
