Well don't know where to start , Keith absolutely the human form of the dictionary word legend.his knowledge,skills and how humble he is in addition to attention to detail in work, what attracts me to this place all at absolutely reasonable cost . Had to build a high end touring bike with rohloff, Keith finished work in no time in absolutely nice and clean way I can't praise his work and his personality enough Im soo glad I found my bike mechanic for life , I don't have to worry or think much now onwards just leave the bike n Keith will take care of the rest Thanks a billion times Keith
Had a slow puncture, Keith fitted a new inner tube in double quick time as I waited at a competitive price. Very knowledgeable. Would recommend and will use again.
I reached out to the bike shop to inquire about a service for my bike. Initially, I was quoted £40 for the service and £10-15 for a puncture repair, which seemed reasonable. However, when I received a text the next day stating that the total cost would be £118, I was quite surprised and felt somewhat taken aback. It would have been more considerate to consult with the customer before proceeding with so many additional fixes and repairs. While I appreciate the £10 discount offered to address the misunderstanding, it still left me feeling somewhat dissatisfied. Transparency is crucial in such situations. It's important for businesses to stick to their initial quotes or, if unexpected repairs are necessary, to seek the customer's input. In my perspective, this experience could have been handled better, and it falls short of the level of service I expected.

I’ve been going to see Keith since they took guns away during lockdown. He pointed me in the right direction to get into proper MTBs rather than just destroying a XC bike. Since then no upgrade or custom mod has been too much trouble, or indeed more than I wanted to pay. Bargain service from a guy who knows his way around all rig types!
I was recommended this bike shop by a good friend. I also looked at the reviews.... All glowing and positive. So better late than never.... I rang first... To be told yes just drop yr bike and it'll go in the queue.... I took my bike on the Friday and had txt Monday morning at 11am to say All done ready for collection. Speedy service. Good price. And tbh would rather give the business to Perfect Balance than the likes of Halfords.... Thank you Perfect Balance Cycles..... Now enjoying bikes rides with my son.
