    If your putting new staff in make sure they know what they are doing. My husband and for chips and peas in a tray. He was going to be charged an extra pound as they were going to put them in a box. The chips were cold and white no colour whatsoever. Peas were put in a pot in the tray instead of over the chips. How can you get this so wrong. Sorry but will go to Leadhams in future. Young people no common sense

    I'm sorry but cardinal sin for a chippy is to under cook chips!! I mean its not hard just let them brown! Over cooked meat and under cooked chips is just the worst. I cant handle that. Best thing bout this place is the footlong sausages. Please start cooking the chips and I'll come back. They also forget my scraps every single time! 3rd time on the bounce now

    Went to the Hedon store for a chip Buttie, absolutely disgusting, grey under cooked chips, approx 20 chips. Total bin material. Edit: In response to the owners reply, no i didn't inform the staff at the time, they can obviously see what they are serving, so what was the point?, i don't want to get into a confrontation in public. But this not been the first time i have had a bad experience with this shop i thought it was time to let others know.

    Sorry for the negative review but very disappointed with the patties, which tasted bland and over cooked, the mushy peas were tasteless. The chips were slightly better but overall not impressed.
