A really nice pub with cozy atmosphere and a friendly Bartender. The range of ciders we tried was really nice and some sweets at the bar looked very tempting. Music was quiet but fitting and they where flexible on the closing times, which gave us time for anorher round befor moving on
Lovely little old school pub in Portsmouth, not many left but this place is a friendly little gem... Didn't have food as too late in the day. But a good choice of beers and ciders..
Excellent pub. Publican was really welcoming and recommended a delicious summer ale. Kids ate all the sweets. Interior really atmospheric and toilets clean. What more can you ask for!

What a find, absolute gem! Huge range of ales super atmosphere amazing prices, beautiful William Morris wallpaper and a ceiling to bring Camra members to tears!
A great pub. Loads of really good beers and a quirky mix of bar snacks (jelly babies and chocolate peanuts and well as crisps!). Lovely and friendly with a sociable atmosphere without any pretentiousness.
Proper pub with good beer. The staff were very friendly and happy to advise on the Beer. We sat outside on the benches and chatted to other visitors. We will definitely be back when visiting my daughter in Portsmouth.
