Called in with my husband for the 50% off Friday we were not disappointed. Service was excellent, staff were very friendly. Atmosphere was excellent made you want to stay longer. Would definitely be back and would recommend to family and friends. Only one tiny criticism which is my personal opinion I would have liked my meal hotter. I had the turkey and ham hubby had roast beef.

Fantastic spot with great food and a great pint of Guinness. We would visit here when we are up this way and we have never had a bad meal. Would highly recommend.

Nice enough staff. My morning coffee was awful, like dishwater. Later ordered two calypso coffees, after a quizzed look we were asked did we want it in a shot? Maybe get rid of your coffee menu altogether. Guinness was good though.

Its a nice place.Secomd time going there. Its also really noisy as most of their tables are for large crowds so if you don't like noise its not for you.Food was ok,l liked my wings and fries. My partner got battered fish which was really oily but taste was ok.The best part was their garlic cheesy bread..it tasted amazing. Staff were very nice.Overall an ok place.Would go back.

We were down in Kilkeel and popped in on way home on the off chance for a quick Sunday dinner. The food was lovely, service was great, and the place was busy and full of liveliness. Food was reasonably priced too. I would definitely go back again if ever in Newcastle.

On first visit asked if we could get food in 30 minutes' time. Came back and told kitchen closed but we could have chowder! Went for that. Chowder was nice, but then staff member sat next to us with burger and chips! Next day, came in at lunchtime. No staff came near us after 10 minutes although they attended the table beside us. Went to bar to order 3 chips and pints and told it would be an hour for the chips. Took our custom to the South Prom Brew Bar, and glad we did!

We are coming here for a lunch on some Sundays. We like the atmosphere, the staff is friendly most of the time, the food is good, and its pet friendly. Few times we were unlucky as the food come already cold to the table, but most of the time rhe food is good, as long as its warm.

Brilliant steak deal with bottle of wine. Ate twice here during our stay in Newcastle. Quiet for a bite midweek & good buzz at weekend. Interesting artefacts hanging around the bar & ceiling, charming place. Nice food, good service. A must visit while in Newcastle

Staff were very friendly, ambience was great and food and drink were top notch! The seafood chowder was some of the best chowder I've ever had, amazing. My wife has a service dog and they could not have been more accommodating for us.
