A fantastic place, we stayed in Kasbah a 2 bedrooms lodge. Greeted by owner (Simon) on arrival who was very friendly and informative. Complimentary lemon drizzle cake bottle of fizz and pint of milk, also balloons and banners in lodge on arrival, really thoughtful of owner. Loved the lodge plenty of cutlery crockery and cooking utensils. Also other condiments and tea/coffee/sugar supplied. Handwash and shower gel and shampoo. Great views outside with round hot tub to chill in on an evening, stargazing. Loved everything.

My boyfriend and i stayed last month in the Fez. The location is beautiful and ideal for dogs. When we arrived the staff were so lovely and friendly. We had a homemade lemon cake and a bottle of wine which was a lovely surprise. The place was so clean and had everything you needed. The hot tub was so nice after a day on the beach. I would highly recommend this place if you want a nice relaxing getaway. I will be going back in the future.

We stayed in a one bed pod called The Fez. Beautiful decor and furniture. Added bonus of private hot tub. Lovely unexpected welcome goodies from the owner. Gorgeous rural setting 20 minute drive from Hornsea.

Just had the most wonderful relaxing weekend away at North Star Sanctum. We stayed in 'The Lotus' which was absolutely lovely. The site itself was quiet and peaceful and there was a nice little dog walk, we even saw bunnies!. The hot tub was fantastic, we spent every evening stargazing ✨ Simon was really friendly and helpful, you can tell a lot of thought has been put into the lodges. The robes and slippers were a great touch and the local cake was delicious!. The lodge was lovely and cozy with the hive heating system. There is a large smart TV and WiFi in the lodge also. The only downsides for us was that the bed was a little bit firm for our liking but that is personal preference, and that the bathroom felt a little cramped (the door would maybe be better opening in the bedroom instead of the bathroom?). Overall we loved our weekend away and wouldn't think twice about booking to visit again!

Found while looking for a lodge getaway which incorporated having dogs. This is a little gem tucked away in a nice quiet area but within a short drive of beaches and other coastal town and villages. Simon and his wife who unfortunately I've forgot her name sorry, are very friendly and can't do enough for you to make your stay amazing. Which is why we're going back again to enjoy this pace a second time

We chose North Star Sanctum for a short break after a chaotic Christmas. Only 20 mins away from home but we could have been anywhere in the UK countryside. The park on arrival is immaculate and the little lodges are perfect for 2. Very clean and well presented nicely decorated and furnished to a good standard, comfortable furniture and a good night's sleep on a thick comfy bed. Hottubs are always needed on lodge breaks and sat in a nice hot tub on a night looking at all the stars with my wife is what I look forward to most. (it was very cold at night and the temperature of hottub did drop but is to be expected, got cold/got out put lid on warmed up got back in lol) The little touches that the owners here make are really appreciated, (not many other owners will go to these lengths and we have been to countless lodges around the UK) a lovely bottle of prosecco chilled in the fridge and a lovely gift wrapped cake. Tea, coffee, milk ect and almost anything else you would need for a little break away. Thank you Simon and family for a lovely weekend away. 5* all the way.. Paul & Julie

This is the first time I have had to leave a log cabin early, we was due to check out 05/12/22 but unfortunately had to leave a day early. Firstly the lodges are very well decorated and very clean but the issues we had just made our stay not very comfortable. One of the main issues we had was the heating, and lack of it, when we arrived the heating had not even been put on and the lodge was absolutely freezing we had to put the oven on to heat the place up which is ridiculous, personally if you know you have a booking surely you would put the heating on and hour before arrival. Also the heating seemed to be on some kind of timer which just switched it off when we was asleep so unfortunately we would wake up freezing, it also seemed to lock us out of the heating sometimes, we also found that the hot tub was locked at a set temperature so we couldn’t even turn that up. The other issue we had was the bed and sofa though very athletically pleasing it was just not comfortable, the bed was rock hard and that’s not even an understatement, and the sofa was the same and extremely small for 2 people. Also as stated on the hoseasons website there was no washing machine and no tumble dryer which was a big let down as we wanted to wash the towels etc. It also states there would be herbs and spices and recipes to match the Moroccan theme, none of these were unfortunately provided. Also as stated on hoseasons a smart tv is in the bedroom this was not the case there was no tv in the bedroom just the living room. And this was the response from the owner: This is a very disappointing read and not something I have seen before. For completeness I will refer to each of the points. I cannot understand the guest comment regarding heating. Late on Sunday afternoon I received a text message from the guest stating they had left the lodge as it was “a beautiful lodge but not for them, the heating kept going off and the bed uncomfortable” (nothing else). I checked the heating remotely when I received this message and it was 23 degrees C in there and the heating was on. The thermostats are adjustable by the guest within a range from 5-24 degrees. Instructions on how the thermostat works are in the welcome pack. The heating was on when they arrived late on Friday. At no time where they ever locked out of adjusting the temperature of the lodge but they are prevented from accessing the settings (such as day, date, time, internet connection etc). The hot tub does have a partial lock function, again to prevent access to settings required to be maintained by the park management. The hot tubs are set to 38- 39 degrees C and maintain this temperature during normal use. It is not recommended to exceed this temperature for user safety. I have not received any other comments about the 2 seater sofa in this lodge and the other lodges I have with the same sofa so cannot accept these comments. There is also an armchair so the seating provision is more than sufficient for two people. Similarly I have not received any comments about the comfort of this bed and there is a thick topper on the mattress. Again, this same mattress is in all my lodges without adverse comments. There is a washer and dryer available on site but it is centralised and not within the lodge. I accept spices were not provided unfortunately these kept checking out with various guests!) but there are recipes. On reflection I suggest we remove the listing wording around this feature as, although it has not bothered any other guest as far as I am aware, if it is listed it should be provided. I do accept the Hoseason listing describes a TV in the bedroom and there isn’t one. We should amend the description. Having said all this I do not consider many of the comments to be realistic and all of them could have been rectified, immediately, by contracting me. I personally checked the guest in on Friday, when I specifically said if there is anything else I could do, please contact me. I was on site all weekend

Stayed here for my birthday weekend, kindly accommodated with a bottle of bubbly and dog friendly for a morning walk before a day of activities, lovely peaceful location. The lodges were beautifully furnished with full cooking facilities. The robes for the hot tub were a lovely added touch too! Look forward to returning in the future for another break
