Just spent a weekend at green meadows. This review will be honest and open. Firstly, yes I did expect it to be small but I really didn't expect it to be so small. You literally have to move furniture around at various times of the day to enable you to do day to day activities, for example, preparing food or going to bed. I will say the pods are very well designed to utilise every inch of space. On arrival, check in was easy,we actually arrived before 4pm and this was not a problem, welcome was friendly. On entering the pod,it was freezing, yes it turned out to be the coldest weekend of the year, but it should have been heated prior to our arrival. We could not work out the heating and ended up getting the owner to come and sort it. There were no instructions about the heating. The radiator is a very small radiator situated under a counter, it certainly is not adequate to heat effectively in really cold weather. We acctually had to put the gas rings on to give some heat at various times over the weekend. The pod was clean and well equipped, bed was really comfy, shower was clean and good water pressure. Hot tub was really good, despite having a 2.5hr power cut on the Saturday night,so unable to use it, not owners fault. Out and about, there is very little, Hornsea and Withernsea, not the best places out of season. Bridlington is about 40 mins away. Saying that it is very quiet and tranquil, and I would imagine in the summer, would be lovely. There is a licenced coffee/ restaurant just 150yds away, info in the pods says this is open till 8.30pm, its acctually 4pm. And doesn't open till 10am. Nearest pub is 4 miles away.

Just come back from a long weekend and what an amazing place this is. The lodge itself had everything that we could possibly need. We stayed in the Herons Retreat lodge and it was perfect. The place itself was so peaceful and tranquil, while still only being 20 minutes drive to places like Hornsea and withernsea and having places like Beverley and Hull just a bit further away. The check-in and out process was easy and the there is a small shop to get anything you could need. We booked this lodge as a last minute getaway and it did not disappoint.

What an amazing place. Stayed in the double lodge (first people in it) and it didn't disappoint at all. Finished and kitted out to a very high standard, has everything you need and more. The staff were always around if needed and called by to make sure we had everything we needed during our stay. Definitely going to come back here again

Fantastic place, lovely bespoke octagonal lodges with everything you need - even a window so you can see the stars (I think I saw a shooting star one night). Very peaceful and quiet location with nature all around - I think I heard fox cubs calling one night. Facilities excellent with fast wifi, a very comfy bed and bedding, and excellent shower.

Our stay at Green Meadows Park was absolutely perfect! My wife and our dog just spent the most amazing, relaxing few days at one of their Spa Pet Lodges. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at home. Stephen, the owner, greeted us with such warmth and made sure we had everything we needed, while also giving us the privacy to unwind. The accommodation was impeccable—spotlessly clean and thoughtfully prepared with a lovely welcome hamper, including sleep masks for the roof light, which was a great touch. The hot tub was a real highlight, and Stephen ensured it was always in top condition, popping by each morning for maintenance. The grounds are beautifully kept, with charming little rabbits hopping around, and plenty of space for walking our dog (on a lead, of course). It was a true haven for us and our four-legged friend. I cannot recommend Green Meadows Park highly enough. It was easily one of the best British holidays we’ve ever had. If you stay here, don’t miss out on visiting The Spotted Duck just across the road—their cooked breakfast was exceptional, and the service was wonderful. Thank you, Stephen, for making our stay unforgettable! We’ll definitely be back.

Me and my boyfriend stayed here last weekend and it was amazing. Stephen, the owner, was so lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Only one slight problem which was taxis, there were no taxis available, so would advise to book taxi in advance if you wanted to go out for food somewhere. Definitely recommend staying here and we will be back again soon.

Fabulous cabin, great position in the middle of nowhere if you love peace and tranquility. Fantastic welcoming from Steve the owner in torrential rain. Great walks for the dog and fabulous food at a nearby pub also dog friendly. Will definitely be back, hopefully with a solution for your french doors Steve. Good luck sir it was a pleasure meeting you.

Just returned home from a week's stay at Green Meadows and it was a fantastic week! The site is very quiet and tranquil, the scenery and setting is beautiful! The park layout is perfect and provides privacy for each pod. The pod itself is done to a high standard and was spotlessly clean. The pod contains everything you need and is more spacious than I was expecting. The furniture and finish is very high standard and the bed was incredibly comfy. We loved the glass roof, especially on the clear nights when we were able to star gaze from inside! The outside area was spotlessly clean, including the bbq and the hot tub was perfect! The owners are very kind, welcoming and made some excellent recommendations of places to eat or take aways that deliver to your pod. We can not speak highly enough of the site and can not wait to make a return visit!

Had the best time here in May this year! The owners where so friendly & welcoming, they came round every morning to maintain the hot tub. The lodge was very clean & tidy on arrival. It was so peaceful & relaxing! While we were there we just wished we had booked for longer, didn’t want to leave! I cannot say a bad word about the place itself we are hoping to come back again by the end of the year!

Had a great time at Green Meadows Park, not too far from local towns and another camping park, it still was peaceful and kept to itself. Wildlife, such as birds flying around, and rabbits on the green outside showed the nature of the park. The owners were incredibly helpful if you had any questions, showed you how to use the hot tub and left you to enjoy your own lodge in peace. This is an ideal holiday for one or two people who want the freedom of either staying in with the BBQ and hot tub or venturing out to see the local sights. The way the lodge is laid out is handy and compact and more roomy than what you expect. The hot tub and outside area has some form of privacy with a slatted fence. I would recommend to others
