“Lidl store beside Dundonald glider terminus. Shop is well laid out. Produce is fresh and their 49p Simply pan loaves last for ages before going blue mould. Prices are much better than any of the other big store. The Lidl brand stuff is as tasty as big name brands for 1/4 of the price. Download the Lidl plus app and you can see all your receipts. You can activate current months deals and gather even more discount on shopping. Staff are friendly and courteous and pretty fast at checkout. No self service or 10 items or less tills unfortunately. Throughly recommend. I am spending nearly £20 a week less than when I shopped at Tesco or Sainsbury’s.”

Like everywhere the prices have taken a jump but if you buy in bulk and are happy to freeze its spot on. All of the food is amazing quality. “Excellent customer service from 2 young men working on 9th Jul 2024 at 15.15. First young man was standing in entrance area, by computer screen ready to take our order. He punched the details in himself (was in to order a Titan petrol lawnmower) and then proceeded to collect the lawnmower from the storage area. I hardly had time to open my purse, when the guy at the till asked how I would like to pay. I left the shop, to reverse my car towards the main door - and as I was doing so, the till man was already standing at the door, with the lawnmower in his arms, ready to manhandle it into my car. These two young men helped, without being asked. They were very pleasant, smiling and joking. We were in the shop for 5 or 6 minutes. Amazing service guys. Ten out of ten. Well done.”
