“I’ve followed FlatpackMan NI for a while and was always impressed by the wardrobe builds. I had a cluttered hallway and needed a solution to maximise shoe storage while keeping it hidden. After getting inspiration from their Instagram, I used the IKEA Pax planner to design a storage unit and sent it, along with photos of my space and examples of their previous work, to Conor for a quote—which was sent promptly. Rachel in the office was helpful and asked for details like my skirting type so they could match it. There was a short wait, which is a good sign of their demand, and Rachel was accommodating when I needed to change the date. Scott carried out the build and did a fantastic job. He arrived on time, kept everything clean and tidy, and explained each step. He built the Pax on a timber frame, added matching skirting and an MDF filler to the ceiling for a seamless built-in look. His attention to detail was excellent—filling, sanding, and prepping for a flawless finish. Scott takes pride in his work. He also gave great advice on painting the MDF and even chatted through some future ideas I had. I highly recommend FlatpackMan NI, especially Scott—his workmanship really impressed me.”
