“Had brunch and coffee here. A spacious cozee place with lots of tables. And comfy chairs with cushions. Relaxing music which doesn't distract from having a conversation. Lots of yummy things to choose on the menu and a vast variety of drink, coffees, shakes, or alcohol beverages. Service was great and the food was amazing. Definitely recommend this place. It changes to a wine bar of an evening on the weekends and has occasional unique entertainment to watch out for.”

“Food was awesome especially the sea bass, we all had different mains and l was able able to get try all. Waiting staff were very helpful ,friendly and attentive it was my god daughter's birthday and as they brought the cake out all of the tables sang happy birthday. lt was the first time myself and my husband had been but it will definitely not the last. lf you get the chance to go do, sadly they open 8/9 weeks in the summer and only on Saturday this year. Next year l will be booking early.”

“Came here for lunch on Sunday and the food was excellent. Good portion sizes and the food tasted great with excellent quality ingredients. You can tell they use good produce here. Good service from the staff with a nice pint of Guinness. The place is kept clean and looks beautiful inside a proper family pub.”

“Old fashioned pub nothing to write home about , just good beers and on that day a northern soul dj , so the music was good had to sit outside in the beer garden as just to load to have a conversation with our friends. Anyway overall not a bad pub for a decent real ale pint .”

“We hired the private dining room at The Boat for my Mum’s 60th birthday meal. We all had a Sunday roast with starter and dessert. From the initial email booking enquiry with Mitchell, right through to the end of the big day everything was exceptional. The service was super attentive and friendly, the food was delicious and creative, and we enjoyed pre and post meal drinks in their beautiful and sunny garden. I would not hesitate to go back there again for a special occasion or a date night treat. Big thanks to all the staff for making my Mum’s birthday extra special.”

“Just had food delivered. Full of flavour and loads of chicken, couldn't eat it all as so much. Quick delivery by restaurant. Price very competitive. Would eat from here again but unfortunately am moving out the area next week. Order was: poppadoms, Starter, main, rice and naan. Totally stuffed and loads left.”

“There is a high standard of care and attention to detail to people frequenting the restaurant. The food came out quickly although the restaurant was busy. All the serving staff were very welcoming and also the bar staff when we arrived greeted us with a smile and welcomed us. “This is definitely a blokes pub, a good old-fashioned boozer no food on offer except crisps chocolate nuts & maybe cobs if your really lucky, a decent assortment of beers, lagers & cider all on tap or bottled, wine is also available they have a beer garden of sorts out the back with seating available but no garden it's more of a local's pub no airs & graces about it everyone is made welcome arrive a stranger & leave as a friend”
