“Very nice little cafe, good selection of sandwiches hot and cold, plus loads more snacks etc. Food is always frech and good quality. Staff are very friendly and nice, with a warm welcome. Clean and tidy, and nice and bright.”

“The Houndville is absolutely brilliant - I regularly use their grooming services which are fab and they always do such a lovely job on my springer spaniel. I’ve also ordered a cake from the bakery before which was beautiful and my dog loved it! Such a great local business”

“The Brighouse Sainsbury is a mid sized store with stock limited to shelves rather than individual departments as in the case of the Sainsbury at Southgate Huddersfield. So there is no petrol station or pharmacy. There is a small Argos housed in one corner and a Sainsbury ATM outside. Nevertheless its good for picking up a few days worth of groceries.”

“I like using Tesco Petrol station because it has a pay at the pump service that accepts your cards. As I'm disabled I find this easier, and I don't have to enter the payment shop. You can still go into the shop to pay by cash. This also has a small grocery section. Milk, sweets, crisps, etc.”
