“Came to Halifax for the day from a week's holiday in Hebden Bridge. Came for late lunch/early dinner and was pretty empty. A few of our party went for the 2 courses for £18 which was good value. We had the mozzarella sticks which are always a crowd pleaser. The beef tacos were really tasty with great crunch from the pomegranate seeds - a lot more filling than expected. The chicken fajitas were also full of flavour. Good pints of Sam Adams. We had a gluten free member and the staff were extremely accommodating (bringing the manager over to take their order specifically felt slightly too much but we understand why). Overall a really great meal, despite no tequila and it feeling like there was an earthquake every 5 mins (assuming the cinema was the culprit!).”

“Had from here a few times recently and I have to say it's always lovely! The pizzas are perfect, garlic dough balls are beaut too. my wife enjoys the shwarma from there too,always plenty of meat and salad. Bonus points for bagging up the drinks separately.”

“Great Chinese. Very friendly & welcoming! Sharon the manager is a breath or fresh air & really goes above & beyond for her customer base! Lovely freshly prepared food. Only gripe is the cost of a portion of noodles, @ £7, they certainly don't cost that much in real life, so a bit of an issue with that one. Overall a great place with great food & a lovely atmosphere. Welldone.”

“Been here multiple times now and each time is just as amazing as the last. The food is so incredible and feels so luxurious without the high-end price tag. The kitchen is an open space and I love watching the chefs work as they prepare the food. The staff are always super friendly and up for a laugh. I can't recommend this place highly enough. “Just had an unplanned visit here after breaking down on the main road outside. Pleasantly surprised by this lovely little pub. Great selection of food and drinks (alcoholic and non). Lovely friendly bar staff. Prices seem reasonable. Decent (although a little on the small side) toilets with deodorant/hairspray etc in-very nice touch, especially on such a warm day! “Always have a great meal at Da Sandro. The last time we went there were a few delays from waiting staff and we were told the drink was coke zero (we checked twice) only to be told by someone else that they didn't stock that. However didn't take away from the pleasure of our meal.”

“We had such a lovely dinning experience at The Fleece on Thursday 9th October! We booked a table for dad's 82 birthday and we were delighted with our choice of pub! The venue is not only special because of the beautiful building and setting - and autumnal and tasteful Halloween decorations - but we were mainly impressed by the very attentive service and amazing quality of every dish. The steak night options were superb, great quality of meat, cooking and sides dishes, and I had the best vegetarian meal I have ever had in a pub - delicious! and with very interesting and tasty accompaniments. Every dessert was gorgeous and beautifully presented, well above the quality and presentation of other pubs. The waiting staff were so very professional and made us feel so looked after! And we were so pleasantly surprised by the very thoughtful gesture for dad´s birthday on his dessert:) they made the evening extra special! “I have booked a few times with Sunmaster now, never had any problems and they are always quick to answer phone if you have any queries after you have made your booking. However, the price does change when you call them with the on line reference to confirm your booking, I know this puts a lot of people off using Sunmaster. I have been lucky though, the price change has not been more than £30 to 40 each time I have used them .... the staff are friendly and helpful (without being pushy) and all documents for travel are sent in a timely manner. I will certainly be using them again as the prices for holidays are the most competitive around.”
