“I came in to the shop on Tuesday was greeted by Mohammed who welcomed me and the Mrs and told us us to take a seat in his office and asked how he can help. I explained what we needed and he provided us with his expertise knowledge and spoke about the different products and measurements. He gave us a quote there and then and also gave a delivery date. He sent me a message the next day with details off the full order and the delivery date and time. He went above and beyond. True to his word. Delivered everything and assembled it. The team who came along were excellent, very attentive and professional. The beds we ordered were so comfortable and the price was definitely affordable. Highly recommend. “A massive choice of amazing sandwich of all sorts, wrap, panini's, bread sandwiches rolls. Today I had Jamaican Jerk chicken toasted wrap and it was amazing. It was a shame I don't live local otherwise I would be there everyday. Can't recommend enough and will be visiting next time im in Halifax which may end up being sooner rather than later to have a good lunch :) super friendly lady that works there too. It did only seem to be a takeaway sandwich shop rather than somewhere you eat in.”

“Lovely little 'taproom' of a pub with Halifax Steam brews & decor inside. There's a small car park, and the pub itself is in a shipping container type add on to the brewery. The service is wonderful, kind, and child friendly. Prices & selection are decent & interesting. Would definitely return again, and our daughter loved the quirky fishtank bar. Thank you!”

“Would highly recommend taking the ageing parent in your life to Stone Dam! We were shopping mobility chairs. Great service from the lady at the desk today. Just what we needed in terms of helpful, knowledgeable, available but not pushy or overwhelming. Ultimately we purchased elsewhere as the we wanted something in stock in a very particular style/colour - but now we know how good they are we will be back for other items in future.”

“Stayed here for the night while myself and Mum saw a concert at peace hall the staff where lovely and welcoming the DJ outside during the day played all the best music and the roast chicken wrap van was a very nice touch. The rooms where clean and the beds where extremely comfortable we will definitely be staying here again if we are in the area Thanks for a great stay”

“Another excellent Wetherspooons pub. Was visiting Halifax as a fan of Exeter City Football Club. A long 275 miles, 6-hour coach journey, so refreshments were in order. It's only a short 5-minute walk from the Shay ground. I ordered the Gourmet Buffalo chicken burger meal. £11.92 including a pint of beer. The food was okay. I ordered on the Wetherspoons app, which means you get excellent, speedy service.”

“Needed some stone to try and match some existing stone. I paid by PayPal as I couldn't pay the driver and as I had not done business with these before, I was a little cautious. I needn't have worried about anything. The stone turned up when it was due and the quality of the stone was fantastic. I would have no issues in dealing with these guys again. “We wanted to write a little about our experience of and with Palmer and Palmer of Halifax - not least to inform future perspective customers! We decided on a new kitchen, as many people do when catering for a good number of people during Christmas. Having a very brief and somewhat basic idea of what we wanted we spent an inordinate amount of time researching various organisations and their kitchens. Whilst the cheaper end of the market appeared to offer good value but poor quality the more expensive end offered the same quality at double the price – An absolute minefield!! Quite by accident, really we found Palmer and Palmer at Hipperholme in Halifax – from meeting Ewan and the Team we felt instantly confident that we had ‘chosen’ well and from day one felt extremely satisfied in both the product and the company. Palmer and Palmer are essentially a real family firm with traditional good customer service - there was no hard sales pressure, just sound appropriate advice and superb design support to meet our needs. From concept to completion Ewan, David and the Team at Palmer and Palmer could not have been more helpful and absolutely nothing was too much trouble. Aside form the purchase of property buying a kitchen is a large purchase and to be fair we were very demanding and wanted the best we could afford - Palmer and Palmer delivered on every front! Even down to the last minute changes, we wanted. The fitting was of the highest standard and, often more importantly, the after sales support, advice and liaison has been the best. We cannot praise Palmer and Palmer highly enough and would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this local, honest, reliable and very competitive quality company. We have told friends and family to ensure they visit the Hipperholme Showroom when looking for a new kitchen and know that we will enjoy our new kitchen for many, many years to come.
