“Another Haworth local gem, this traditional bistro cum deli has the gallic-vibes dialled up to 11. Located right in heart of Bronte village itself at the top of Main Street, it’s renowned for 'choose you own' cheese and meat boards; quaint stew pots (chasseurs and bourguignon etc); the rather fun raclette grill (pictured) and many more trad’ French dishes - even L’escargot for the more adventurous! Friendly staff, extensive wine list - most avail’ by the glass and dog-friendly, much like Haworth itself, it’s a warm, atmospheric hug from start to finish.”
“Really friendly and helpful staff!! Can’t have breakfast menu after 12 I think but lunch menu has breakfast items and extras so we just created our own breakfast. Really good value, local cafe. Coffee was great. Loved it here. £10 minimum on card, however I paid cash”
“We found this pub by chance when staying in the area during the August bank holiday weekend, they managed to squeeze us in last minute and so glad they did, we all ate something different and each meal was delicious Not only was the food lush the service was great too, all the staff were super friendly and helpful, quite clearly genuinely enjoy working there, we enjoyed it so much we went again the following evening, again all had something different and again the food was great . Really tastes great and home cooked and cooked well. I believe my dad will be talking about the steak and ale pie for EVER and my mum the chips Unfortunately I only took one photo, this is the beef lasagne, my meal from our first visit 100% recommended, my only regret is we didn’t go back for the Sunday roast, we went somewhere else in the area that had been recommended ! That’s a separate and less complimentary review”
“The lady, who I'm assuming is the owner, was a lovely essentric welcoming host who runs a very quirky little establishment serving a wide variety of coffee roasts and lovely baked goods. I was fortunate to get some freshly baked scones...straight of the oven, and hey not traditional and puffed up, still tasted lovely. Recommend the Rwandan beans if you get a chance to try it. Nice attention to detail across the decor and crockery.”
“Went for lunch today, staff are so lovely and the food is excellent. My elderly mum could only eat half her prawn sandwich but she said it was so delicious she wanted to take it home. I asked the young man on the counter and he said no problem he would wrap it up for her. He brought it to us and said he had put a pack of crisps in for her too. Great service and we will come again very soon.”
“We stayed in the Hideaway room for 3 nights. It was very clean and comfortable, the bar downstairs was very nice, the breakfast offered was delicious, and the staff were amazing, very friendly and helpful. I would recommend staying here whenever you’re in Keighley.”
“Excellent food with friendly service. We were staying local and found this pub very welcoming, booked a meal for the following night and weren’t disappointed. The food and drinks are all very reasonable Thanks to all the staff”
“Great place to play as a band nice friendly People and staff”
“Fantastic food, quantity and quality, we were full after the starter. Perfect little place to eat and drink. Looking forward to going back”
“We did not stay here so no stars for the rooms. However, we did eat here and it was tremendously good value and quality. I had the steak and ale pie, with mash and garden peas. the pie is served in the pot and has a nice puff pastry topping. The filling was incredible. There were huge chunks of tender, flavoursome steak. (It made the old Pedigree chum adverts look like they were advertising mincemeat.) I cannot comment on the puddings as we were too full from our main courses to eat one. Very friendly staff, fantastic beers, kept well and served well.”
“Great pub with a lovely warm ambience, real fire, friendly staff, good juke box and very reasonable prices! Usually pop in when I'm in Keighley for a pint of Landlord to give me courage to brave Morribobs!”
“Oh I just love it here! The staff are so friendly, we were immediately welcomed as soon as we stepped in. The food is absolutely delicious and the place has so much character, it really is a gem in Haworth. Would absolutely recommend!”
“The store's been changed around you now have produce and fresh on the first isle which is really great, frozen is on the back right corner and bread is on the back wall near the tills all in all a good shopping experience and you still have money in your pocket when you leave now that's value.”
“Me an my family came for food tonight. The food was gorgeous the staff were lovely and they made a big fuss over our dog (who loved it) we will be back soon to try somthing else off the menu.”
“Fantastic hotel with outstanding staff. Just a note if you visit during warmer weather there is no air con on the 1st floor, not a criticism just worth bearing in mind. The staff make this hotel perfect as they are so attentive and helpful.”
“Absolutely best place I ever eat. Guys are super friendly. Fantastic food. Everything is super fresh and done individually for you. Freshly done nan bread and meat cut on front of you. Super fresh vegetables and great sauces. Price absolute bargain as £4.50 for a wrap is like a steal. I would easy pay £10 for this quality. Thanks guys for super service and food. Will back next time 100%”
“Lovely clean rooms. Decorated for Xmas. Nice breakfast tea and toast served to table rest was self serviced. Hot choice with plenty of fruit pastries cold meats etc. lovely rooms.”
“Nice well stocked store. Had a really nice breakfast from the cafe, but the touch screen ordering is frustrating. I think it would be better speaking to a real person.”
“Bradley has been walking my dog Jake for over 18 months. Bradley is friendly, punctual, reliable and I always feel that Jake is well cared for and in super safe hands when he's out and about being walked with the pack. Jake is always so excited to see Bradley and returns home a well socialised, tired and happy dog. A major plus is the abundance of photos of the days adventures at the end of each day. Both Jake and I highly recommend Bradley!”
“Love the village and the people, great place for tourism, flocked by thousands each year( except last two cos of covid boo )”
“Great boat in a great area. Ben very helpful. In the week we had Blue Otter, we travelled from Skipton to Saltaire returned back through Skipton through Foulridge Tunnel and turned around just before Nelson. Highly recommend a canal boat holiday, and if on Leeds and Liverpool recommend Blue Otter. Not your typical hire company , but all the better for it.”
“I loved staying at the Kings Head. It’s my sort of place. Friendly. Functional. Clean and comfortable. Fantastic value with a Brontë Bus stop right outside. Easy access with electronic passes (fob) to come and go as you like. Short stroll into town and fantastic Harvey’s next door for breakfast.”
“Decent beer and friendly staff. It's just a shame that the beautiful bar has been painted silver, the original wood finish was gorgeous.”
“Amazing service. Staff were so friendly and accommodating. We came for a child’s birthday we will definitely be coming back !!!”
“I really don't understand how you can give them a bad review... Their service is great, food is ready in no time, super hot, food is absolutely divine, amazing value for money and the list goes on... We ordered the Chicken Chow Mein and the Black Bean Chicken with Chips and me , my husband and my 4yo son ate it until full and there's still food leftover. Lots of chicken, just how we like, can't complain.”
