“We have just moved into the area and have been trying to find a place that can offer quality Indian food at a reasonable price with good service included. We have definitely food it at Nawabi Baildon. The friendliness of Ali who took our order was a breath of fresh air compared with what we ate used to where we used to live. The driver (sorry didn’t get his name) was also so friendly. The food came when promised and the popadoms and pickle tray were very fresh. The onion bhajis were to die for and the curry that i had recommended was perfect taste served ‘Asian style.’ Just right for me. We are happy to have found our regular weekly curry.”

This place was packed on a Thursday night, and I can see why. £12.95 for a two course meal is fantastic, served with a choice of good value extras, and cool Peronni on draught. “Lovely place to go for a walk. You can walk to the canal and then cross to the other side of the canal to walk back to Hirst locks or Saltaire. Nice and quiet early on.”

“We visited Rossini last night. Very easy to book a table online. When we arrived, we were shown straight to our seats. Tastefully decorated and fast service. We ordered the mozzarella started to share, this was lovely. I had the mushroom risotto, lots of flavour. My partner ordered a steak and he said it was cooked perfect. He also ordered the blue cheese sauce on the side and said it was the best he's ever tasted. We didn't have to wait long between courses. Very reasonably priced. Will definitely be visiting again and highly recommend. Only downside is, the parking is very limited outside.”

“These guys were recommended to me by a friend, I found them to be friendly and helpful. They sorted out the issue with the car, a Jaguar, with little hassle and got it done sooner than promised. “Visit the Malt shovel monthly with Husband for Karaoke on Saturday nights. Great Karaoke host and good sound system. Cosy atmosphere, friendly crowd and attentive staff. Adequate Seating inside and outside. Clean toilets. Food is good and a varied menu. Great choice of traditional puddings and desserts. Wide selection of Drinks and cocktails at the average price. We park across the road rear of the shops.”

“I go each week to Lidl in Shipley I love the store and the-staff are so good Lousie who is on the till most weeks is so amazing with all the customers and is always so pleasant She always has time for each and everyone. “Meant to put this review on a few weeks ago! We went in on the Sunday night of the Saltaire festival and the guy that was working there (ahhh we asked his name but didn’t write it down so sadly we have forgotten his name!) was just SO lovely! His customer service skills stood out in a day and age where sadly customer service skills are lacking in many, many establishments. He was friendly and chatty and genuinely looked happy to be there in his place of work. 10/10 We look forward to popping in again.”

“A lovely little cafe under Titus Salt's feet with an alpaca statue out front. I had a soup & a tea sat surrounded by plants with a view out to the Aire. There's a toilet and baby change inside as well as an accessible public toilet under the stone stairs outside that is open when the cafe is open.”
