“Very prompt and punctual. The man at reception was really friendly and put me totally at ease. The eye tests were carried out very professionally by both members of staff and the optometrist could not have been more relaxing and excellent. I have glaucoma in my family so have to be monitored annually. I’ll definitely be back next year for my next check. Many Thanks.”

“We set an appointment as we were feeling quite overwhelmed with the amount of items we would need to choose, and the information we didn't know (first time parents ). We were so lucky to have had Cynthia meet with us! She was organised and methodical in her approach, as well as so patient with our million questions! We also appreciated her approach to providing us with advice as we weren't met with the typical sales-y way of just trying to direct us to get whatever is most expensive; instead - she asked us about our lifestyle and expectations/requirements from the items we were looking to buy and provided her input based on that. We're not going to buy the items today, but know that when the time comes, we'll be coming back to this store and asking for Cynthia specifically!”

“Staff are always friendly and helpful. The store is well stocked with Co-op products and so I go all the way to Shoreham by-Sea to get my main shop because where I live in Brighton the stores don't stock everything on my shopping list. Also the stock of many items in the Co-op shops in Brighton are frequently low or missing, especially staples like fresh bakery, fruit and veg and goats milk (I'm intolerant of cows milk). Additionally, I have to buy a parking voucher from the newsagent in Blatchington Road, Hove to park near the Hove Co-op (the closest store to my home with better stock) as the Co-op doesn't sell them; even though they have a paypoint facility at their customer service desk. The Ham Road store in Shoreham by-Sea has a free car park so the extra petrol I use to get there is cheaper than pay and display charges in Brighton and Hove.”

“I took my old beloved faithful shoes in for repair that should have gone in the bin as over ten years old. Collected them two days later and have been brought back to life. Excellent workmanship with new sole and heals and stitching. Had another pair of shoes re-healed with metal heals which is hard to come by now as most places only do rubber heals which do not last. This is excellent service and give 10/10 not to mention the cost which is far way cheaper than other places without the quick personable service. The most kind gentleman, also removed chewing gum off of shoes which I failed to do with ice. He really does care about your shoes and goes beyond just repair. I was not charged for stitching to my shoes which a previous company just bodged with glue and had an ugly lump on my shoe. This has now been professionally repaired. Can't say enough about this kind man and he offers a first class service in all respects. No matter how battered your shoes are, he makes them look good again and is a most honourable man. “Visited Holmbush store on 31st October mid afternoon to purchase a pair of trousers for elderly mother (101 years old!). Found pair she liked but too small so went to desk to order larger pair. We were served by very helpful assistant Jane H who told us there were no size 12s available in that store. But Jane did a search and came up with availability in Worthing (one pair left although slightly longer length) so we headed off to get there before closing. We were in luck and able to buy them and mum was very pleased. Thank you to Jane for her extra care and attention to our plight which is not often found these days!”

“The best design & Harness collection for my dachshunds on the market! ❤️ I first purchased my purple full set (collar, lead, harness & bow tie) at Crufts, served by a lovely employee (couldn’t remember his name but he was tall, dark hair) so helpful with measurements. I loved it so much I ended up buying the ruby red full set for my male dachshund who’s a little larger female is S, my male is M in collar. And the colour is just gorgeous. The amount of compliments I recieve from them wearing them I always say it’s from the spotted dog Co! Will be using forever now. Thank you!”

“Great Tesco with a huge range of food. Use daily as it’s a short walk from work. Fresh salad bar is great for a healthy lunch, staff have always been very helpful and the petrol station is a bonus for getting all the chores out the way in one go. Highly recommended. Hairdressers, WHSmith,pets corner, Holland & Barret and Costa are all under the same roof too.”
