The owner is friendly and knowledgeable and clearly cares a lot about his stock and his customers. Well worth a visit, even if you don’t live in Shoreham-By-Sea.”

“We set an appointment as we were feeling quite overwhelmed with the amount of items we would need to choose, and the information we didn't know (first time parents ). We were so lucky to have had Cynthia meet with us! She was organised and methodical in her approach, as well as so patient with our million questions! We also appreciated her approach to providing us with advice as we weren't met with the typical sales-y way of just trying to direct us to get whatever is most expensive; instead - she asked us about our lifestyle and expectations/requirements from the items we were looking to buy and provided her input based on that. We're not going to buy the items today, but know that when the time comes, we'll be coming back to this store and asking for Cynthia specifically!”

“As I entered drift this morning with a friend the place was buzzing and very busy. It's so obvious why... the service was amazing and the food was to die for. We both had poached eggs on sour dough/multi grain toast with crispy bacon and vine tomatoes. The best breakfast I've had for a very long time. Very well presented and served. I will definitely revisit. Thankyou”

“How many Halfords employees does it take to change a lightbulb? 2 apparently; one grumpy old man to tell you not to park your car in a fitting bay (at the time you have booked) only to have to move it immediately back there after moving it elsewhere and then to tell you they can't change the headlamp bulb on your car even though you tell them you have seen it done before without taking the whole headlamp unit out and then the 18 year old who apparently knows nothing to do it in a matter of seconds. The 5 stars are for the young lad who was very polite with a great customer manner and an extra bonus 0 stars were awarded for the grumpy git (If he wasn't just having an off day please let the young lad give him a bit of training).”

“I took my old beloved faithful shoes in for repair that should have gone in the bin as over ten years old. Collected them two days later and have been brought back to life. Excellent workmanship with new sole and heals and stitching. Had another pair of shoes re-healed with metal heals which is hard to come by now as most places only do rubber heals which do not last. This is excellent service and give 10/10 not to mention the cost which is far way cheaper than other places without the quick personable service. The most kind gentleman, also removed chewing gum off of shoes which I failed to do with ice. He really does care about your shoes and goes beyond just repair. I was not charged for stitching to my shoes which a previous company just bodged with glue and had an ugly lump on my shoe. This has now been professionally repaired. Can't say enough about this kind man and he offers a first class service in all respects. No matter how battered your shoes are, he makes them look good again and is a most honourable man. “Visited Holmbush store on 31st October mid afternoon to purchase a pair of trousers for elderly mother (101 years old!). Found pair she liked but too small so went to desk to order larger pair. We were served by very helpful assistant Jane H who told us there were no size 12s available in that store. But Jane did a search and came up with availability in Worthing (one pair left although slightly longer length) so we headed off to get there before closing. We were in luck and able to buy them and mum was very pleased. Thank you to Jane for her extra care and attention to our plight which is not often found these days!”

“Good variety of items. Been here many times over the years. Clothes and trainers are good wearing. Always like the various toys and sweets in stock. Store is well laid out, clean and tidy when I last went in there. Parking close by can be a bit of an issue being located on Shoreham high street.”

“Interesting shop with some lovely quality clothes, hats, shoes, jewellery, in fact just about everything. Lots to look at, so take your time in case you miss something amazing! There are even chocolates here, although they don't have loose ones any longer, but some lovely different boxed varieties. They also have 25% off the Welsh Clogau jewellery. Great shop for nice clothes and quality gifts, including candles, room sprays and body cream which I noticed were all locally made. Just love this shop!”
