But Poppy service is personal, reliable ands my dog seems to be smiling when he returns home from his 3 times a week pack walk with Poppy for an hour. She is always prepared for the weather conditions, like water for all the dogs when out, when hot! My dog adores her, and gets so excited when waiting for her to arrive!”

I came in with a large, DIRTY, poodle…at lunchtime. “Do you have time?” I asked, ready to get the stink eye. “Of course we do!” Said the patient soul at the desk. When I returned my dog was clean, fluffy (better than I can do it!) and happy. The rates are more than fair. The shop is charming and spotless. “Since Scampi's adult coat came in and winter was upon us, it became more and more difficult to groom and he got more matts than we could cope with. I explained to Maxine how we were loathe to lose the length but understood that perhaps now we'd have to start from scratch. She was very understanding and although she had to clip him quite short, she managed to keep the length on his head, ears and tail and he looks great, He obviously feels a lot better too and is running around like a loon. She also gave good advice about avoiding matts as his coat grows longer. All in all, an excellent first experience when I've heard so many horror stories about groomers from other people.”

She can be very nervous and anxious and they tailored her walks to accommodate her needs. We also had an issue with our key and they went above and beyond helping our dog sitter access our home. They kept us updated at all times and had an organised approach that meant that all areas were covered in case of emergency. We would highly recommend!”
