I had worked up my own designs with the IKEA team but Freya was extremely helpful giving them a once over, making great suggestions, and recommended suppliers she'd used on other jobs to raise the quality of the whole thing, for example for the kitchen tap. I was a little nervous going with the dark blue Fenix but it's fantastically sleek and modern with the black valchromat core. It comes up lighter in the attached photos, but it's really a deep dark blue. The kitchen forms half of our open plan living space so it's always on show and seen by every visitor. Almost without exception, it gets a compliment from everyone, and the Husk fronts are a big part of that. On the practical side, Lauren was brilliant at managing a relatively tight delivery window.
