“This is a great venue, it's such a beautiful building. Ideal for a variety of events. A lot of the original features remain, or have been replaced like for like. Much of the original brickwork, and flooring remain throughout the building. The modern meets historical vibe works well for this venue. Everyone is so helpful and friendly. Bar staff, reception, front of house, ushers, all make the space feel so welcoming. The lift might have been out of order, but they have a series of contingency plans, and everyone is able to access the venue. A lovely night was had, when 3 of us came to see Rosie Jones. (She was as fabulous as ever) A special shout out to Rowan who was so helpful from the moment we arrived, to the moment we left. There were several sets of toilets: Gender neutral Male Female Disabled I used the gender neutral toilets, and as I suspected, was absolutely fine! These toilets are great for single parents and carers of opposing genders, who may need to enter the space. Or, rather bizarrely, someone like me who just needed the loo! More spaces should consider installing gender neutral loos.”

“We had Gary DJ our wedding and he did an excellent job. The whole night my wife was on the dance floor! She enjoyed it so much I had to get her off as she didn’t realise the evening food had been served an hour ago! I strongly recommend you book him, he read the room very well and played banger after banger and got everyone dancing. He even broke the night up with some dirty dancing and a competition. Thank you so much for a great night Gary!”

“Came in here today looking for a selection box of biscuits and a shower curtain of up to 1m wide by 2m drop. Unfortunately shops only seem to sell shower curtains of 180x180cm so I will have to go to a popular online retailer to get one of up to 1m wide by 2m drop. But I was able to get the box of biscuits. No queue for a checkout at around 14:00 on a Sunday. Was pleasantly surprised when I got to the till and asked before paying if I could have one of the cheap thin plastic carrier bags for the biscuits that the person serving told me I could have one of those for free, they don't charge for them. I thought all large retailers had to charge for thin plastic carrier bags but presumably B&M dont.”

“We met Michael at Drakestone House,Stinchcombe on one of their opening days..we already had booked a DJ for our wedding but Michael upon meeting him was highly professional,offered so much more than we even knew was available and was extremely accommodating answering our questions openly and honestly- I knew I wanted to have him on side upon our first meet as I trusted him from the off. The evening of our wedding was brilliant and the dance floor was never empty!His set up was aesthetically pleasing,he has a plethora of tunes at his disposal and we couldn't have been happier with his level of service!A huge thank you to him and we highly recommend to anyone looking for a dj!”

“Very well appointed and planned meeting place for all kinds of large or smaller events. Adequate sound system lighting etc, not on a par with some very up to date halls but OK. Clean warm plenty of chairs.”
