“I was lucky enough to give birth to my first child at Cossham birth centre last May. All of the midwives and staff went above and beyond to make the experience as relaxing and comfortable as possible. I gave birth naturally with no drugs, spent basically the entire time in the tub and gave birth to my baby in the water which is exactly what I wanted. I gave birth at 4pm and we were allowed to go home at midnight that same day. The rooms are a mix between a hotel and hospital, it's such a nice atmosphere in there. I have heard they may be closed or at risk of closing at this would be such a shame. It's an incredible building to give birth in and I wouldn't change a thing.
