“Really great service and excellent food. Although it’s a chain, this Prezzo manages to get out great food at good prices. We had the oven baked prawns, Tuscan beef and the hot one pizza. All faultless. Eve was particularly helpful - friendly and attentive but not too attentive! Thanks!”
“This is a beautiful little hidden gem. We were nearby and put ‘cafe’ into google maps and found this awesome place. We came just before lunch service ended but nothing was too much trouble. The food was perfect, gluten free and vegetarian catered for. Great prices and super chilled atmosphere. Staff were brilliant. Highly highly recommended.”
“What a beautiful small village! Unfortunately I visit this place not on the finest weather but it still look extraordinary pretty. There is a big parking lot around 10 minutes walk from the village.”
“Beautiful National Trust site. Excellent walks with stunning views. Dyrham Park house is just stunning with beautiful gardens, church, and ponds. You have video history, tea rooms, and a mobility bus for the elderly and disabled. Really helpful, informative staff. We would highly recommend.”
“Beautiful park and good facilities. Cafe, play area, tennis courts, a bandstand! Gorgeous mature trees and plenty of space.”
“This is a working farm, but the welcome is warm and rooms comfortable. Breakfast is excellent. A real homely feel.”
“Cabby's were fantastic when I needed a taxi to a wedding on Sat 22nd July.I had every confidence the taxi would arrive - and arrive on time !Got regular texts to confirm bk,that the car was on it's way.I can't praise Cabby's enough,Adam was our driver on the day, he was friendly and polite. Several calls came in on our journey and he was helpful and accommodating to the callers.A first class service!”
“Me and my girlfriend have just stayed for one night, but we would have loved to stay a few more if we had the opportunity. Steve and Cathy are wonderful hosts of an amazing B&B that has everything you could ask for for a long weekend getaway. Absolutely recommendable, especially if you wish to explore the Cotswolds, Gloucester, Bristol, and Bath.”
“We stopped in for a bite to eat while visiting Castle Combe, and have to say we had a fantastic time! The staff were really friendly, and so helpful. We were able to share a portion of fish and chips, which was delicious. The dessert was absolutely amazing too. Lovely atmosphere, would definitely return.”
“Went to the civil war reenactment today which was a fun day out with cannons and musket firing and a nice encampment with tents featuring different parts of life in the 17th century. Being right next to the town centre it was easy to nip for a coffee and a bite to eat, in fact as we were sat in the cafe they marched up the street to the beat of the drum! Wonderful event well worth the trip.”
“This review is for the Marshalfield Ice Cream shop attached. The ice cream is so good and I liked the cones as well. The chocolate and salted caramel are both good if they have them. The mint chocolate chip was good, but not quite as good as those two.”
“One rarely has a tour experience this satisfying. Jon is extremely knowledgeable about the area, easy, accommodating, interesting and fun. He immediately picked up on our particular interests, and tailored our day with him to reflect them and to move at our pace. His van is very comfortable, we covered a lot of ground (which we wanted), saw everything of interest, got all our questions answered, and had a fabulous, fun day. Our experience with Jon was top notch in every respect, and we now feel as if we’ve really seen the Cotswolds in all its glory.”
“Great place. I stayed alone but also perfect for families. Excellent room, breakfast and very friendly host.”
“Beautiful wood. Not easy to find and parking tricky but well worth it”
“Ordered in store, food was made tasty and piping-hot in a very short and delightful amount of time. Service was great and the food was even better. Nothing to complain about.”
“This is lovely pub restro in the beautiful Castle Combe and a perfect stop for a hot meal. There are only two places to eat one is the White House. We visited castle Combe on a bank holiday weekend (assuming it will be less crowded). The white hart still was very busy but they have a lot of tables and plenty of places to seat. The queue to order was long. And as they were short staffed on the bank holiday, food took a little longer to come. But no complains as the sandwiches we ordered were delicious. I don’t remember when was the last time we had such yumm sandwiches. Loved it. Wait worth a while.”
