βIt was incredibly fun, cleverly spooky, and genuinely entertaining. We wandered through the city at night, exploring corners with eerie stories and legends that made Bath feel magical and mysterious. What truly made the experience outstanding was the guideβs amazing sense of humour and storytelling skills. The way he narrated each story kept us hooked suspenseful when it needed to be, and absolutely hilarious when we least expected it. You could tell he loved what he was doing, and that energy was contagious. The atmosphere was friendly despite the creepy stories, and the guide made an effort to interact with everyone in the group, which added a personal and engaging touch. I laughed so much and still learned quite a bit about the city's dark history in the most entertaining way possible. Whether you're into ghost stories or not, this is a must-do experience in Bath. Iβd definitely do it again. Itβs a perfect mix of local legend, humour, and theatrical fun. If you're looking for something different, this tour will absolutely surprise you.β
βWith only a short amount of time in Bath this weekend, we were advised to join one of the Mayor of Bathβs Honorary Guidesβ free walking tours, which depart from outside the Pump Room - which was an excellent recommendation. Our guide for the two-hour tour was Simon, whose enthusiasm, warmth, and depth of knowledge brought the cityβs history to life as we explored its back streets, landmarks, and hidden corners. He made a genuine effort to connect with everyone in the group, tailoring anecdotes and facts to peopleβs interests whether related to geography, culture, or simply where they were from. The tour was informative, entertaining, and surprisingly unique, especially considering the challenges of navigating Bathβs narrow lanes, busy roads, hills, and uneven pavements. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend it. We were also delighted and a little astonished to learn that the guides do not accept tips. Itβs a wonderful way to discover a city from people who share its stories purely out of passion for the place they call home.β
βScruffy but who cares. Unpretentious. It's where I get my bananas! They are basically a veggie shop but sell lots of other things that are good for you (though you may have to scramble over a sack of potatoes or a person to get to them). Now I come to think of it they carry an amazing lot of stuff, from said bananas to frozen meals (posh ones) to bread to aubergines. Lots of organic food/veggies. I like it very much.β
βI really enjoyed "Small Hotel" featuring Ralph Finneas! I was able to purchase tickets on site about twenty minutes before the performance, and the view from the top level Grand Circle was still great. Thank you!β
βPassing through and saw this little place. Popped in for a bacon butty and a wee and itβs made me genuinely sad that I donβt live around the corner so I could visit every week. Staff (Sharon and Darcy) were so friendly even though we arenβt local. They had regulars (known by name) and clearly look after them making everyone feel special. Spending time chatting with an older gentleman. Itβs opposite the park and botanical gardens, I walked the dog before popping in. Really wished I lived closer to be able to come back get bits for a picnic and stroll in the parks. Dog friendly too! Bacon butty - banging Takeaway brownie not yet eaten but smells divine. Service warm and friendly And the best bit, evening guest chefs and wine! Anyone have the number of an estate agent?β
βWe stayed for 2 nights at The Yard after our wedding and it was great. The location is fantastic and very central which makes walking to the city centre easy. The rooms are nicely finished and clean with a great bathroom. Really comfortable beds and in a very quiet location too.β
βBeautiful and super conserved historical site. Tickets include audio guide with so much information. I'd recommend at least 2h for your visit if you want to take it all in and not rush.β
βWhat a great experience! My husband and I decided to eat lunch here and it was so delicious, the food, atmosphere and shop layout gave us an authentic dining experience. The food was made to perfection, nice a healthy and hearty. We enjoyed it so much that we were so close to having it again that day for dinner!β
βWe visited Square Grill in Bath and had a fantastic experience! The ambience was amazing, giving off a royal and elegant vibe. The food and drinks were delicious, and the service was top-notchβvery friendly and attentive staff. The location is perfect, right opposite the Roman Baths Museum, making it a great stop during your visit to the city. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a classy dining experience in Bath!β
βLovely little coffee shop with a great selection of cookies and pastries. The barista was super friendly. The cookies looked delicious and super fresh so we had to try the rainbow chocolate cookie. It crumbled in our hands so you knew it was just made and it was delicious.β
βThis might be the best barbers Iβve been too. It has a nice feel to it, it has class but a slight chill vibe to it. It is for everyone. The staff are friendly and also helpful. The haircut I received was amazing and looks spot on. They offered me tea while the haircut was being done, which is just extremely nice and thoughtful of them. They also offered me product in my hair which normally you have to ask for in a barbers. I am VERY VERY happy with the service and only Β£20 for a skin fade as a student. They also do OAP discounts as well as the student discount I was given.β
βBooked in for Sunday roast which I can honestly say was the best roast I've had for a long time. So many pubs do roast very average but this was way above that. Everything was cooked lovely and the service was great. Well worth a visit and we'll definitely be back.β
βGreat Flat, comfortable, spacious, everything you need, great views over Bath, fantastic bonus having a parking space. Nice 15 minute stroll into the city to explore what Bath has to offer.β
βWe had such a wonderful experience staying at Hope Place 29B! It was definitely our home away from home. Sam thought of everything, we are back home in the Netherlands and we are still talking about missing our cozy Bath home. Highly recommended! Nagesse & Marcelβ

βReally clean, nice getaway. Check in experience was flawless, lovely area in converted "barn". Hosts leave a nice spread of food for you on arrival. Local community shop on doorstep & a Co-Op about 5 minutes drive away. Only negative is upstairs porthole window doesn't have a blind, but is easily overlooked.β
βI bought two suede jackets from this store, all the staff were incredibly helpful, one of the jackets I bought was on line, ordering this was easy with next day delivery, and great service, delivered as promised to store next day for me to pick up - great customer service, all the staff are fantastic, Renz, was terrific and his advise and help was exemplary, a great ambassador for Reiss - I will definitely buy again, the clothes are top quality, and good value for money - thanks Reiss definitely 5 star!β
βOne of the best spots for brunch in Bath! Has plenty of seating, great music, fast wifi and amazing food with big portions. Staff were friendly :) Will definitely return!β
βCouldnβt say more about our stay. Warmly greeted by cheerful and helpful staff. Primary contact at front desk (reception area pictured) during our stay was Charlie - informative and positive. We stayed in Rm 28 which looked over Bathβs recreation field (bowling lawn and croquet field) with Abbey in the distance. Only downside was lack of storage - challenge for us as we had a 5 night stay (seems most folks have shorter stays). The Plate has a good breakfast and dinners were varied and good (had our first Sunday roast beef dinner and it was memorable). Location provides 10-15 minute walkable access to a number of activities (rowing on the Avon, viewed our first cricket match, the Holbourne Museum, and all that Bath proper has to offer). I asked a former co-worker (Brit ex-pat) best place for holiday in Britain and he replied quickly, Bath. The Bird Bath made it that much better. Highly recommend.β
βThe rooms are clean, modern and have everything you need! Staff are friendly, polite and helpful- even when busy! Tasty breakfast included in the price! Absolutely brilliant! What more could you ask for- would definitely stay again!β
βAs the food standards in the UK, the taste of food here is great. Never disappointed. Though I think there is a lack of vegetable in the bowl meal.β
βwhen I was in your shop I felt soo welcome the staff were so helpful with my chosen shoe which I bought for my daughter graduation, I have recommended my friends to the shop at Rieker Bathβ
βOutside and weather dependant but we had great conditions. It was popular and a real treat for my family. Glad we got the family ticket for Β£50 and then 1 more child plus booking fee. Some just paid on the day and queued. An hour is enough. There were enough skates for everyone. Good times and good vibes. Merry Christmas!β
βPopped in for a bite after work to try and escape all the crazy traffic. Staff were great and not in your face. Food was really good - I do love tater tots! The pizzas were very good indeed. Nice thin and crispy base - and they were huge!! Lovely quick bite, pop in if you're in Bath.β
βA nice place to have a quick lunch.β
βAbsolutely divine. Hand crafted cuisine. The pork apple sausage was perfection. The fish and chips were delicious. Fabulous service and the location is beautiful.β
βHighly recommend staying here if youβre visiting Bath. Perfect central location, within 20 mins walk of all the main attractions. Staff are friendly and helpful. We had a Premier Plus room, an extra treat, and well worth it. The room was lovely and the hotel quite peaceful.β
