“My wife and I had a very good time at the Lamb and Lion this weekend and the staff were so caring and very accomadating to our needs whilst in a booth. we were watching football and darts during the course of Saturday and they were happy to change channels at our request. The food was very good and choice of drinks were great but the staff were amazing. thank you all and see you soon. Terry and Kerry”

“Great place to stay! The rooms are freshly renovated and feel brand new. Super comfy bed and a small but cozy bathroom. The pub downstairs, owned by the host, has a great vibe with friendly locals. There are nice restaurants and a spar 2 in the same street. Bus stop right at the door takes you to the old town, or it's an easy 30-minute walk. The host was very responsive and even left us some Easter treats. We highly recommend staying here!”

“Today my husband and i were travelling to Glastonbury. We had to wait for RAC for 4 hours and popped in to the store as we were parked up the road. The staff were amazing and even let us use the toilet.”

“This is the first time, i found so delicious turkish food in this side of United Kingdom. I felt like that i am in Taksim Square, Istanbul eating my lamb shish and enjoying the sweet wind of Bosphorus. Choose your meal and take a seat next to the Pulteney Bridge. You will not regret it. :)”

“Three of us arrived for Friday evening supper. Young but very attentive serving staff, who looked after us beautifully. We started with the sharers board with a side of the crispy chicken. This was followed by a signature burger which was well cooked, good onion rings and crispy chips. We also had the fish and chips, we decided to have the extra bread and butter and scampi, we probably wouldnt do that again. The fish was tasty and well cooked. The final meal was the smothered chicken. This was rather over cooked and dry but a good flavour. I probably just had bad luck. The pub is welcoming and you are always comfortable there. It suits all ages, the parking is good the location is amazing. I would certainly recommend it.”

“Ordered from here delivery although I have eaten in the restaurant before which was 10/10 for us. I wanted to write a review for the delivery as my gf and I were both extremely happy as magu seem to do it better than other burger restaurants in Bath. All of our food arrived in time, and hot!! The burgers were so delicious, I wouldn’t order for takeaway anywhere else now, cooked fresh, and you can really tell! Thanks magu team!!”

“I was here on a Monday and witnessed a lovely member of staff having to deal with an idiot who was stood staring at the cakes then moaned no one served him. I felt compelled to defend the staff. At times it is a thankless task but being polite costs nothing. They work long hours and it’s not their choice to make everything so expensive.”

“Really lovely little pub/hotel. Was slightly dated building so the room we had on the third floor shook when a big vehicle drove past, but the traffic died down in the evening. Was a good accomodation and would stay again. Drinks and food were good too”

“A great place for people watching. Large outdoor patio. Limited indoor seating. No food that I’m aware of. Like everyone else says “good Guinness.”

“Good size room with a nice seating area, small dining area and a good size kitchen with all the commodities you could expect. Bathroom was nicely done out and the toiletries provided were really nice. The location was perfect. Bath is a small city and this was in a great location for the attractions and for bars and restaurants. We found the soundproofing very good and any noise heard was from other residents within the corridors. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others staying in Bath.”

“Theresa stepped in to cater for an event that was very last minute and provided an exceptional spread for a very reasonable price. Her service during planning and on the day was fantastic and put my mind at ease that I could focus on other aspects of the event. All diets were catered for and no-one was left hungry. “After having contacted James and asking him several questions which he answered thoroughly, we decided to go for the Tandooriq XL. Having ordered it on the Thursday it was here by the Tuesday and when I unwrapped it found it to be in perfect condition. I spoke to James several more times asking his advise and he was always more than happy to help. Although we haven't yet used the XL at a catering event as intended, we have been practising with it and are chuffed to bits with the result. I found it first time round tricky to light but now use small kindling blocks just to keep it going long enough for the charcoal burn. Once it's up and running though it lasts hours. Our first outing we had it going for 8hrs. We've cooked chicken, pork, pigs cheek, beef, veg skewers and naans on it. And they all taste great. I highly recommend a Tandoor to anyone from Tandooriq. And the customer service was exceptional. Couldn't ask for anymore.”

“Big sports TV, pool tables, darts, great beer selection, food available, I picked up Crisps Artois here, the amazing landlord saved them for me! He is a class act, friendly, enjoys a laugh with customers and is open to anyone whether regulars or not. Friendly and amazing pub in Bath - you can get the 5 bus from the centre which stops just outside. Amazing views from the huge windows out the front too. Totally recommended!”

“We hosted our wedding reception here. It was a lovely day and a great venue. We rented out an additonal side room as a kids room which i think the parents liked more than the kids as they could play but still be nice and close to be monitored. The team were really helpfull getting us booked, up and running and also with the clean up / packdown.”

“What a beautiful little place tucked away just outside bath. It was a perfect place to base ourselves for a short break to visit the city and would definitely return. The hosts clearly care about the guests as there was milk on arrival, well stocked tea and coffee as well as some treats I won't mention..! The garden is stunning and although it looked great in October, we'd look to come back in the summer to enjoy long, light summer evenings. Inside it's a cosy atmosphere helped along my a log burner and relaxing colour schemes. The main bedroom is huge and with a great view into the countryside.”

I’ve been blown away by how lovely the apartment is and how helpful all of the management are. Everyone is very friendly and reliable and the location is ideal. The social events are also brilliant.”

“We had a vegetarian grazing box from GG for an outdoor event. Really impressed with the quality and quantity of the contents. Loads for two people with a few bits left to take home. The cheeses and red pepper roulade excellent.”
