“I did my research on various Bridgerton Bath tours available before traveling there from Chicago, this particular one by Paul was highly recommended with great reviews. My best friend and I were not disappointed by this one in the slightest. Paul was very informative and charismatic and I truly enjoyed his little extra details and information about both Bath and Bridgerton. I would GLADLY book this tour again should I i return to london for a 3rd trip.”
“Fantastic tour!! A must do in Bath!! Ed our guide was knowledgeable and fun! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and the food establishments we went to were top notch!! Definitely worth doing every visit to Bath!”
“Beautiful and super conserved historical site. Tickets include audio guide with so much information. I'd recommend at least 2h for your visit if you want to take it all in and not rush.”
“More gyms in one place than I've ever seen, and uni gyms weren't like these in my day! Oh what a time to be alive. And a student.”
“I've been wanting to visit for a while and had no regrets, there's loads to see, the festive decor was great and we heard a volunteer give a talk about Salem Witch Trials which we didn't know was happening that day and really enjoyed! Would definitely come back in better weather to enjoy the gardens.”
“Great place in a nice setting. Very encouraging staff”
“A warm welcome awaits you here. With well kept rooms and a nice choice of breakfast to eat in you room. The staff are all friendly and accommodating, we will definitely return soon. Stay here and you won't be disappointed. Only a short walk into the city centre.”
“The building is quaint, just sitting in there is a lovely experience. Good chance you have wait to get in as it is pretty busy. The soup was very nice, the buns were also rich and tasty, we had 3 different types and all very happy with it. Meal deals are worth considering. Their tea is excellent, worth buying the leaf tea in the shop in the basement. Bathroom was sliglhly neglected in the rush hour, but otherwise a memorable hour we had there.”
“As a campus, it's one of the best you'll find. It's large considering the number of students BSU has as well as being absolutely beautiful, with nature at every turn. Walks are always magical and campus is very convenient, being not so large that the SU is impossibly far from Lakeside; but not so small that you can't go on a leisurely walk. Staff and students are also nothing but polite and respectful.”
“I attended a free hands-on science exhibition with my 4 and 6 year old at the weekend, and it was brilliant. It kept us all entertained for a few hours on an Autumn afternoon. It was very well organised with 3 rooms full of science stations, each one offering an experiment, craft activity or demonstration, and all the volunteers were great, very knowledgable, enthusiastic and engaging with the children. What a great event- thank you!”
“Highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Bath. Perfect central location, within 20 mins walk of all the main attractions. Staff are friendly and helpful. We had a Premier Plus room, an extra treat, and well worth it. The room was lovely and the hotel quite peaceful.”
“Lovely hostel up a hill. Getting to and from it is an adventure for the children, and me! Stayed in a nice, private ensuite family room. spacious self catering room. Doesn't have a cooker but has air fryer ovens. Pleasant atmosphere. Amazing views. I would advise taking additional pillows with you. We have now stayed at a number of YHA hostels. Always positive and good value for money. Thank you YHA Bath.”
“Just pop in with daughter, very friendly staff, quick service great explain how restaurant work, delicious food even for very picky eater like me! Big portion of food I could finish my even my daughter hers!”
“We had a lovely 4 night stay here and we felt at home right from the start. Nice spacious room clean and well maintained. The bed and the sofa bed were both very comfortable. We had a lovely view of pultney river. Nothing was too much for any of the staff. Matteo at breakfast is a great asset to the hotel. He is so welcoming and nothing is too much for him.”
“Fantastic stay, I'mpeccably clean apartment, everything you need for a short stay is at hand, and 2 minutes down the hill and you're in the centre of Bath. Highly recommended. Parking is a nightmare but that's the same everywhere in Bath, its not a criticism of the apartment at all.”
“Would have given 5 stars all round but 2 days in a row we didn't get clean towels despite leaving the hanger on the door. The reception did give them to us on request though.”
“We stayed for 5 nights. Room was spacious for 3 of us. Breakfast really good. Stuff very friendly. Parking it available outside of the hotel however when we stayed it was very busy so I don't think there was enough parking spaces for all the guests. It's a walking distance to the city centre and petrol station and supermarket are nearby.”
“Wonderful two nights at the Rudloe Arms. A very unique hotel and each room is different in the manor house. Super cool furniture and photos of beautiful people on the walls. The food was great every night as well as breakfast. The staff went far and beyond making sure we had everything we needed, especially the manager Stephen. He moved my father to a room that was easier for him as he is 85 and not very mobile. We came back and all bags were moved and taken care of. It was my father’s birthday and they made a special desert for him. Incredible grounds as well, just a really special hotel. Will be back!”
“Lovely to sit outside here for lunch on a sunny day (in October! ) Service was efficient: you order inside, give your table number & food is brought to you. Between us we enjoyed very good homemade soup (sweet potato & red pepper) & a wrap. Usual range of teas & coffees. Cakes looked great but we didn't indulge. Would definitely go again.”
“Myself & a friend went on the Cotswold tour on March 31st. Richard was our guide & he was excellent, with some great stories. We got to see lovely small towns such as Castle Combe and Bourton-on-the-Water which would have been difficult to reach otherwise without a car. Given the width & winding nature of some of the roads we travelled, I was very glad that someone else was doing the driving! Maddy's recorded pieces were really enlightening. As a keen Tolkien reader, I was interested to see the two trees either side of the church door in Stow - definitely reminiscent of the doors to Moria. Having just a small group certainly made a difference - and was much more manageable.”
“This was such a great tour! Dan was a fantastic driver and knew a lot. I appreciated that he pointed out landmarks on the drive and how organized he was. The bus departed and arrived on schedule and everything went smoothly. I felt that two hours at Stonehenge was the perfect amount of time. I will recommend this tour to anyone I know that wants to visit Stonehenge!”
“A unique and really special place to stay. Richard the charming owner is very welcoming and has so many great stories to tell about the history of the house. We had a wonderful night's sleep in a huge and comfortable bed followed by a delicious breakfast. I hope we can come back one day.”
“Such a beautiful place food could not be any better I do recommend the bonoleges and the gelato and get the ogan juice good place”
“The guys there, Steve and Stu, really know their stuff. They carry nearly all the juices I've ever heard off, and loads I haven't. They also have loads of testers available to try. They also have a wide range of mods, batteries, chargers, coils and coil building sets. Basically everything you could need. Nicely laid out shop with everything you could need regarding vaping all under 1 roof. And their prices are really good. Next time I'm in I'll take some pics to post as it's really cool inside. The décor is so cool and inviting. Top work fellas. Si. H.”
“The staff and facilities are all aligned to exceed expectations and it delivers. The listing states its a Bed & Breakfast. However, it performs like a 5 star hotel without the price tag. Book with confidence, this place is seriously good. The only thing I did not like, was having to leave.”
“Very nice cafe. Really nice breakfast. We will definitely come here again. Clean and tidy place throughout.”
“Just had an amazing takeaway from here delivered. Really delicious and high quality, not oily and greasy like other places. Delicious flavours and a first time order side dish gift included! Will definitely order again.”
“Really enjoyed Being Mr Wickham. Adrian Lukris created a compelling life story of Mr Wickham. The rogues really do provide the backbone of any story! We loved the hour of stories. He told tales that painted the picture of key points in Mr Wickham's life. Loads of research and wordsmithing were honed to perfection. The Q&A after was also illuminating. Hos fans are very clever, articulate people.”
“Having been to pretty much all of the Mexican restaurants in Bristol, the steak burrito from here was the best burrito I have ever had! Great Vegetarian options too with a delicious special on offer most days. Super friendly staff and great value too!”
“Great location as Bath is close by and public transport is really good. Lovely warm and comfy accommodation. Fabulous location and views. Everything you needed and excellent communication from our hosts. Would definitely return.”
