“I was in Llanough Hospital from 1 August 2021. I needed help as the I felt a senior clinician was not acting in my best interests and when to Tribunal to appeal her judgement. This is when I was first introduced to Advocacy Support Cymru. The female Officer from ASC was simply EXCELLENT. My advice - if you are in any mental health situation ALWAYS contact ASC as a matter of immediacy if something does not seem right. The ward staff are excellent but it is those in charge of your future MAY need supervising. We changed the clinician of concern to me. To end on a good point my current lead clinician is Excellent. ASC will always defend your position and protect your Rights. What a great service to be able to call on and it is free! I appreciate the work the ASC Officer did for me so much that I send the Organisation an automatic monthly donation {a thank you} from my pension. This is a Hidden Gem Organisation.”
