“The Arden Hotel was clearly sign posted which made locating the Burgundy Restaurant within the Arden Hotel and Leisure Club nice and easy. Plenty of parking spaces, free for customers using the restaurant by validating the parking ticket at reception on the way out. The staff were all very welcoming, smartly presented and professional. Me and my friend went there for an afternoon tea experience which was given as a birthday gift. On our way into the restaurant we were greeted by Jane, who effortlessly catered to our every need, offering to take pictures of the both of us with our tea, clotted cream and scones, delicious selection of sandwiches and cakes. We both enjoyed all aspects of the visit, Janes added personal touches made it that little bit more special. I would highly recommend to anyone considering going in the future.”

“An unfriendly and racist dog walker, our evaluation is unfair, our health is in line with the standards, government officials have to check every year, we do not open the door because there were bad people to mess up, and we are only dedicated to the Chinese students to provide food, can not do business nearby residents. “As my first hotel experience, my stay at Las Tavola was both enjoyable and comfortable. Upon arriving I was informed that the single room I had booked was unavailable, and so I was given a double room instead at no extra charge. The room was warm, clean and inviting, and I had no trouble sleeping that night. The staff were all very friendly, and quick to offer their service should you need it. On the evening of my stay there was some entertainment on in the bar/restaurant area, consisting of a Lady Gaga tribute act as well as plenty of 80's/90's music throughout the night, which is a welcome change to the usual rubbish that seems to be played at every bar and night club these days. The bar itself was cozy without being cramped, and while I cannot soak for the quality of the restaurant, the drinks were reasonably priced and refreshing. Included in the price of my room was a breakfast, which I unfortunately didn't get the chance to sample due to other arrangements I had already made, however the inviting smell of bacon and sausages that made their way down the corridor left little to the imagination. =) Overall my stay at La Tavola was one that I will definitely remember, and I am certain I will be staying again sometime in the near future. Many thanks to all the staff at La Tavola! I hope to see you all again soon!”

“Critique's really should be left to people who work in the restaurant business... Being in service it's the only industry where you are judged from start to finish and where the customers get to go away and in the safety of their homes comment on something they don't really know about... like they are the experts. How would you like to be judged, everyday for absolutely everything you do??? Chill out people! Everything here was ok. Service was friendly and helpful. The staff were working hard. The food was good for the price. Note for the management... hire a cleaner for the areas which don't fall under the waitresses domain and an extra staff member just for the busy hours”
