Her home-made curries are authentic and her street foods are perfect for when you’re tired of your regular takeaways and fancy something different and the fact that she has offers and holds competitions regularly is a bonus! “My mum sister and I took our first visit to this store. My mum and I love to cook and my sister loves trying new foods was excellent. Very friendly service, lovely and clean and well organised. The store was excellent, the stock of spices, herbs, ingredients and snacks. I got a basket of spices and vegan snacks and it came to £11. My mum was very impressed as she often has to buy ingredients online for cooking Indian dishes and now has somewhere local to get them. We will definitely be back again.”

“Went to celebrate mother in laws 70th. The restaurant was very accomodating, friendly. They made sure that my mother in law had a lovely time. The staff was lovely, really took care of us. Food was nice as we don't eat alot of spice the food was adequately spiced . We would go back as the place deco amd atmosphere is nice. They have a large selection of menu which is always nice. Thank you for making my mother in laws birthday special”

“We were a party of 4 with no booking but this wasn't an issue. We were welcomed at the door and all staff were polite and attentive. A great choice of food on the menu and so I chose the Kathmandu option with garlic fried rice which was delicious. The naan bread was amongst the best I've ever had. We shared 2 bottles of the house red, a merlot, and we all agreed how good it was. If you're in the area, I highly recommend you have a meal here.”

The service was impeccable and they dealt with my allergies excellently. The waiter we spoke to knew exactly what would and wouldn't be an issue which was really nice, particularly as my allergies are less common. The food itself was lovely and priced very well (especially the kids' portions). I can't really recommend this restaurant highly enough!”

Absolutely authentic and tasty food…the pavbhaji was mindblowing (can attest the authenticity and taste given I am from Mumbai). Will order again when I am in Rugby next!”

“Wow just wow We loved it. So glad they moved up town. We arrived for a Sunday evening dinner out. Greeted with a smile from the amazing staff that will go above n beyond to make yr stay perfect. They have decorated the place so well, such a lovely atmosphere. And then the food. I wanted to try something different to start with and went for the duck. The name of it is on the bill. Omg the presentation and the taste WOW. Absolutely loved it. I will be asking for that as a main next time for sure. The wife had the chicken starter which she said straight away, we are coming back for more lol. The rest of the meal was just as good. Excellent presentation, taste is top notch. We highly recommend The Ark And we will be back to try the steaks next time too.”

A party of twenty of us visited to start a birthday weekend celebration and everything was perfect. All the food arrived at the same time, it was all correct and the quality was lovely.
