“This place has such stunningly beautiful food! So tasty and full of flavour. The menu has a real Middle Eastern vibe which I wasn’t expecting from the previous pictures, and it was glorious. We had the lamb flatbread ( big enough for two!) with a side of the Harissa falafel. Good service, nice decor, great coffee, and excellent social distance measures. Felt safe and clean in there. Highly recommended!!”

“Popped in due to having some time to fill and so glad that I did. The food was absolutely superb. I tried the chicken and pork wraps and they were both stunning, felt like I was back in Greece. The Baclava was also delicious, so sweet and flakey. The Loux lemon drink was also a hit. Overall great food at a great price. Would recommend this to anyone and will definitely be coming back.”

The owners are friendly, attentive, and go above and beyond to ensure all the customers are satisfied. Now, the food and coffee... simply outstanding! The waffles and pancakes are absolutely out of this world—fluffy, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The coffee was excellent, rich and smooth, and clearly made with care. The breakfast is really good too! Every meal that comes out of the kitchen always looks delicious, with generous portions, high quality and great value for money. This is my new go-to spot in Leamington Spa. The quality of food and exceptional service keep me and my family coming back. “It's definitely a great place for food. Went here for my other half's birthday and it is special. Lots of food without ever feeling too much, which was great as it kept coming! Especially loved that it definitely wasn't the usual food that you get elsewhere. Every course felt interesting and tasty. I'm pretty sure I may have sneaked a lick of the plate... My one recommendation is not to go for the full flight of wine mind, not that it's not enjoyable, just that you may not remember the last course! Recommend getting the half flight or a lovely bottle and then you can keep the memories a little more lucid.”

“I visited the Half Moon for a wedding reception. The food was excellent and offered plenty of choices including vegetarian options. The staff were great and coped well with a very busy pub (as well as the usual Saturday night drinkers there were a lot of thirsty weddings guests). I’d certainly like to go back for a few pints on a regular Saturday.”

“Had afternoon tea here earlier in the week. It was delicious and great value for money. Sandwiches were lovely (salmon & cream cheese), Victoria sponge was rich, sweet and homemade. Scones were very nice as well because they were buttery and not dry. Traditional, old-fashioned decor inside made the tearoom look like something from the 1940s. Amazing!”

“A cozy pizza place with quirky art and many vegetarian options I had a vegetarian meal at this pizza place and I was pleasantly surprised by the variety and quality of food. The restaurant has a cozy and pleasant atmosphere, with quirky and funny art pieces on the walls that made me smile. Firstly, I ordered the chargrilled vegetable pizza, which had peppers, onions, mushrooms, and aubergine on a crispy crust. The pizza was served on a wooden chopping board, which gave it a rustic feel. The onions were nicely caramelized and the cheese was pleasantly strong. Secondly, I ordered the jalapeño poppers, which were cheese-filled peppers coated in breadcrumbs and deep-fried. The jalapeño poppers were crunchy and cheesy, but they were not spicy at all, which I was surprised about. I expected them to have some kick to them. Thirdly, I ordered a mock Pina colada as a drink, which was a change from my usual latte. The mock Pina colada was refreshing and creamy, with a fruity taste of pineapple and coconut. It was definitely a worthy substitution. The service was friendly and fast, and the prices were reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. Overall, I enjoyed my experience at this pizza place and I would recommend it to anyone who loves pizza and quirky art. It’s a great place to have a fun and relaxing meal with friends or family.”

“Amazing coffee and pastries. They have an excellent balance of flavours of sponge, milk cream, butter, walnut, chocolate... Instead of just sugar. I'm quite confident that all pastries are hand made, they are as tasty are they look. The atmosphere is intimate and comfy, like you would expect from a southern European café.”

“This is a wonderful wee pub. Legit had the best ploughman's I've ever had. Staff are all lovely and friendly and the garden is gorgeous. I'd already eaten the cheese and garlic bread before I took the picture.”

When visiting the Kenilworth Castle we had a few choices around but decided on Friends because of the food and prices... the fish was one and a half foot long... Chips are crispy and portions are huge. Would definitely eat there again.”
