“Had Sunday lunch today, the food was perfect.. no question of there not being enough.. there was more than we could eat. A lovely pub very well laid out. Nice staff but a little overworked as it was difficult to get there attention at times. 9.9/10. We'll definitely be back.”

Atmosphere is lovely and relaxing, food was excellent and the service from Kirsty and Helen was top class. So well organised with ordering and serving everyone given the large number of us. “This is a brilliant villa. Excellent build quality and incredibly well furnished fantastic views, with a super little infinity pool. Inside, the villa was one of the most well-appointed we have ever stayed at. Such attention to detail In relation to all the things you would need in your own home. Great condiments, very well stocked kitchen utensils, ice boxes for the beach. The list goes on. Cannot think of one single thing that was missing. Freelance Villas were excellent to deal with. First class and early communication. A digital guide to the property which is the best I have ever seen. Friendly and immediate service. I would recommend them without hesitation and plan to use them again for future trips.”

“we were very impressed by this restaurant. every dish was a hit, especially the steak, the chicken wings, the calamari and the camembert mash potato. the only thing we did not like as much were the pork ribs, as they were slightly dry. however we still had an amazing experience with the food at very reasonable prices! we would also like to thank our server marino for the pleasant experience :)”

“Had some vegan food from GKitchen on Thursday at early doors in Daventry. Really tasty, great for eating while enjoying a beer! Hoping to try some more of the vegan choices next time they are in town. The vegan box meal was a great size, we had that and some spicy soy pieces with chips and there was more than enough for two people!”

Above and beyond what might be expected for a community centre coffee shop (in my opinion). They have now also implemented a loyalty card scheme which I can't wait to take advantage of ❤️”

“I arranged the works Christmas Party here with the marque out the back for 62 people. From start to finish Rohan was brilliant, answered any questions around dietary requirements etc i had quickly and amended the booking on numerous occasions due to people dropping out last min. The marque was set up lovely, the food was great and everyone commented on how big the portions were, nobody went home hungry! A big shout out to all the staff and Rohan they were all really attentive throughout the evening and couldn't fault anyone. Would highly recommend anyone having there Christmas party here!”

I had sea bass, cooked to perfection with lots of veg and hasselback potatoes. Everyone enjoyed their choices. Prawn cocktail was really good. Portion sizes just right. Only one of us disappointed, no steak and ale pie. Service was excellent. All food reasonably priced. We'll definitely visit again. Would strongly recommend going here.”

“Visited on a Sunday eve about 5.30 and were politely told kitchen closed at 6. We were given the Sunday menu but asked if it were possible to have something off the weekday menu; they were so helpful. Nothing was a problem and all our food was delightful; outstanding really. Up there with the best pub food we’ve had. Way better than soulless pub chain food that is everywhere these days.”

“I liked this for the excellent pizzas we got and how cheap they were! Only a fiver for a Margherita with a choice of veggie toppings. The staff were really friendly and whilst it's very much for students that doesn't rule out families or if you want a quick, simple bite to eat. The beers looked pretty good too, with Brew Dog on offer in cans. I think upstairs is the best location but the basement where we were was fine.”

“Excellent hotpot place that is very reasonable for the price. Even the buffet items alone are worth the price and really delicious! Really enjoyed the cold chicken (salad) and braised pork belly. You get a lot for your money and all the hotpot items are fresh and tasty. I recommend the hand-pulled noodles, quail eggs, cuttlefish and marbled beef! Don’t forget the fried sesame rice ball for a sweet snack! Staff are very patient and kind and will explain thoroughly if it’s your first time at the restaurant”

I arrived too early, however staff allowed me to seat comfortable and wait for my order.
