“Courteous and helpful service. My relatively small order was no problem and delivered as agreed. I am gradually replacing old wooden fenceposts with these recycled plastic ones that I bought some years ago and needed more. I find them straightforward to install and nail (using slightly smaller wire staples). They look as good now as they did new and will outlast generations of soft wooden ones. Initially more expensive but saving me money over time - and being recycled plastic is saving the planet too. Happy to recommend.”

“As part of the plans for a loft conversion / renovation Archispek was recommended by my architect. That recommendation was one of the best things to happen to my project. As part of the renovation we were putting a new kitchen in the old bedroom and knocking down a wall to make it into a kitchen / living / dining area. We had no clear vision of how the kitchen would look but demanded that it should look good, be affordable and be functional. When briefing Archispek, they were able to deliver on these demands and more. From the first to the last design, Archispek worked with us and helped us come up with a bespoke design we did not know we could have. Throughout the design process, from picking a drawer to picking a colour for that drawer, Archispek were helpful, responsive & patient with every question we had. When the kitchen arrived Archispek were more than helpful and responsive in helping fix snagging issues. Archispek have helped us in other areas of our renovation delivering units for our new bathroom in the loft and units for the utility room. Archispek have been an absolute pleasure to work with. We appreciated Jordan's fast response (especially given the market was very busy immediately following the Edinburgh trade break). Further, Jordan was able to provide a fast temporary solution to the problem and detail the options we had for a permanent solution. Jordan helped us understand the implications of each permanent solution and the cost associated. “Can't recommend Jason enough. Electric boiler packed in on us. As it's a somewhat rare model, I went through a list of companies who said they couldn't help. I was starting to worry. Luckily found Ecotec and Jason said "give me a boiler and I'll fix it". Wasn't the most straightforward of repairs as there were a few separate issues and I was worried I'd be in for a full new boiler but true to his word he didn't stop til it was back working better than it ever did since we moved in. The gaff is toasty again and I know who I'll call in the future for any help with it!”

The advice given by Terry when he came out to price and measure the work was knowledgeable and honest. The standard of workmanship by Danny and the installation team was first class. They came, they did the job really well then they left left. They were pleasant and approachable and there was none of the " we'll be back on three days to finish the job" nonsense. Operations were managed by the office supremo, Sarah, who dealt with coordination, payment and general admin. She is brilliant at getting things done and ensuring the smooth running of the work. Overall I have a lovely new high quality kitchen which cost far less than I had imagined and I would thoroughly recommend and thank Alba kitchens for their work.”

“I can’t praise Colin, Jenny and their team at Development Direct highly enough. When you look to take on a potentially expensive building project (installation of kitchen and bathroom which included the removal of structural walls) you would be concerned about the quality of workmanship that you contract. However, even from the initial discussion in their showroom I realised that I was dealing with a team that paid attention to detail. I had an awareness of what I required, but Colin and his team provided extensive guidance and advise on layouts, products and styles. They were excellent at answering all of my queries; in particular, I liked Colin’s comprehensive quotes and invoicing. This allowed for stress free control of the budget, and the flexibility for alterations or enhancements during construction. Their onsite team were excellent and, as mentioned by others, were always on time, left the site tidy and the workmanship was of the highest quality. And with Colin and his team as overall project managers, their in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the build made for easy discussion. Development Direct have created a wonderful addition to my home. Even after the project was completed, they have been helpful in following up any queries. It truly was a stress free and effortless project (for me, as the client, at least), therefore I would have no hesitation in recommending them for any size of project and look forward to working with Colin, Jenny and their team again.
