“Have to say this is a great wee shop. Loads of choice and with the addition of the butcher amazing. The butcher is a little more pricey but you get really good quality produce. The recent addition of the cook range is also very welcome. Good selection of drink and not too pricey, in fact it's all pretty reasonable.”

“Luv this shop, I buy my candles, my air freshner, my laundry tabs, fabric softner scent boosters, deodorant, they also have a range of Birthday cards & other types of cards & a great selection of food items, also in store crisps, cakes, chocolate, also pet foods, thing's for the garden & a range of beers & wines so pop in & have a look they just might have what your looking for . Would recommend a visit.”

“I was there on 30th October 2025. Staff were helpful and friendly. When food arrived it was hot and very tasty, we all loved it. Fairly busy for 6pm on a Thursday. Calm and relaxing atmosphere. Will be back soon !”

“Had a great experience with ekco from start to finish. The staff were very helpful and communicated well throughout our project. The tradesmen were efficient and showed up on time. I was very impressed by their standard of workmanship and how they would tidy up after themselves. Everything was completed in a timely manner and I’m delighted with my new bathroom.”

“We pulled up in the nearby marina after a damp day on the Canal. A very short walk away, we 3 found Grill Delights. 2 of us had mixed grill meal and one had a curry. The people were friendly, the portions were hot and generous (meals included some salad -very welcome- and a drink), the chilli sauce had some kick. Happy to recommend take away! There are a few seats on high stools at a bar if you want to eat in. Near to Sainsburys, and at the marina is also (if open) a lady selling ices, for afters. FYI canal boaters, marina services (toilets, etc) not yet open (as of 16/9), but good berths, water and power there, and will be great when services accessible.”

“First time ordering from Green Jade. Food was nice and hot and tasted great. I ordered chicken&sweetcorn soup, Beef curry and fried rice. There is enough left over for another meal. Good portion sizes.Will definitely order from them again.”

“3 item munchie box, wow! I got chicken in batter with S&S sauce, 5 large pieces. SnP chips in batter, amazing. King Prawn Panang Curry. 5 Prawns, green peppers and onions/coconut, was fantastic, well worth it. £10.50. Never had a bad meal here.”

“A great takeaway. They use real chicken for a start not they usual mushy stuff. Just had a chicken curry and was fantastic. Lovely chicken, chunky onions and a sauce that was well balanced for spice and taste. Not had a bad meal from these guys and always delivered in a good time frame too. Would highly recommend.”
