“Excellent vegan food in an atmosphere that is aquaint relaxed blend of Mexican, youth club, cross channel ferry at midnight. The staff are friendly, helpful and welcoming. The food is splendid, the haggis burger is one of the best haggis products ever, a Smokey fake meat burger topped with a vegan haggis and mayo. Naturally a stack like that gets a little sloppy if you eat it like a burger but it held together well. The fries were perfect, it was missing a side salad, so I could at least pretend I was being healthy. The desert was a sundae, took me back to a childhood holiday at Butlins but the flavours were more mature with caramel and nut sprinkled on top. A 5/5 experience.”

“My dad and I came here on a Saturday night with no booking. I wouldn’t suggest that but we were lucky to be accommodated and seated right away, even though it was very busy! We got a seat in the back room, which ended up clearing out and we had all to ourselves. The ambiance is perfect with nice lighting and great tunes. We ordered two kebabs, two curries, two rices, a few drinks and a plain naan. The garlic lamb bhuna has a bit of a kick but had so much flavor, and the lamb was perfectly cooked. The railway chicken was comforting, with big pieces of chicken (flavored fairly similar to a butter chicken). Although the seekh kebab was my favorite - with peppered, tender lamb and a mint sauce paired with pickled onions and peppers! The chicken kebab was a little too chargrilled for me but still packed a punch of flavor with the same sauce. My preference for naan is to be bready and soft, while this one was a bit too crispy for me. We had a cider and lager each, then split the earl grey ginlet, which was an interesting cocktail. It had more lime than early grey but was still pleasant to try. Their cocktail selection is unique, with various options I’ve never come across before! I’ve been here a few times and the service is always great. The servers are kind and frequently check on you. I will come back again with more friends and family!”

“Literally never been happier in what feels like an eternity. School to put it short, was horrible. I was basically always depressed, yelled at by a select few teachers, called lazy by one teacher in the first week of me ever being there, it’s why l’m depressed at times. I thankfully can’t say the same about college. People there actually care about you, they’re friendly, understanding, respectful. Pretty much overall the complete opposite to what l dealt with for 4 years. I could go on but l’ll keep this as short and simple as l can. I love this place and l can honestly say that when l leave, l’ll actually miss this place.”

“We really enjoyed our 1 night stay! Even though our room wasn't ready at 3:30pm, the check-in across the road was smooth and the kind woman at the reception was very helpful. The room was very clean, and a nice mix between traditional room and a modern bathroom. Great water pressure on the shower, very comfy mattress, nice weight to the blanket, and a decent sized TV. Can't ask for much more! Overall very pleasant stay.”
