“My wife loves this shop and spent a good 40 minutes choosing a few things on a late afternoon in December. As we left we realised that the shop had closed (20 minutes ago) and we were the only customers left. Despite that, all the staff were helpful, there was no hurrying us up or tannoy announcement. “I have used this garage for 6 years and wouldn't go anywhere else. Exceptional service, honest and fantastic workmanship. Needed my car for tomorrow and despite being a man down they did it and got it back to me. Paul and his staff are so obliging and a pleasure to deal with. A while ago our friends came to stay and suffered damage to their motorhome someone came into our drive and ripped his bike off the back. Paul repaired the damage straight away with no charge can't get better than that!”

“Poor Andre had a bit of job to do when i brought my car into him to first diagnose which wasnt the result i really wanted to hear, however, he has managed to make my car virtually brand new all over again. It wasnt exactly a small issue that needed fixing either. It may have taken a few weeks to get sorted but in the grand scheme of things, thats nothing compared to the work and effort he has done to get me back on the road. Highly recommend! “HU6 Walking Group have regularly booked a table at Dancing Goat because of its popularity, we have turned up just for drinks and their hasn't been a table available for us, but the staff have shuffled tables and chairs around and made us feel very welcomed and no trouble at all. So, when we have agreed to eat here, we know because we are a group of around 12 people, we had better book in advance in order for the staff to arrange a space to accommodate us. The food as always is and has been faultless, so on behalf of our group, would unreservedly recommend a visit to Dancing Goat, to sample the food, drinks and hospitality. Keep up the great work.”

“Lovely place to have an independent coffee; especially good when the sun shines so that you can do a little people watching whilst sitting outside. The inside is quite small so it is often very full but there is always the option to take the continental approach and sit outside at one of the many tables. Poma is also a great place for an icecream or two - even better that they have gluten free cones.”

“I was able to browse an excellent deli and cheese counter and there is an extensive and high quality selection of wines, beers and spirits. There is an online shop where you can get home delivery. Very handy if, like me, you couldn't carry all you wanted home with you!”

“If you’ve never shopped here for your pet food/accessories, then you’re missing a treat. I buy my cat biscuits here in bulk. Only save a few pence but my cats love them. I get large bags of Guinea pig nuggets at a good price and the range of dog biscuits is immense. It’s not always easy to find what you’re looking for but that’s because they have so much in quite a small area. The ladies who work here are very helpful though and make you feel welcome.”

“I've been tattooed twice now by Jamie and I'm very happy with his work. My first tattoo in particular with Jamie was already a special one, getting a matching Motorhead tattoo with my Mum. He made it even more so, playing their music in the studio whilst he did his thing. I am very appreciative of that and is now a memory me and my Mum will have forever. The second tattoo was a personal one, that I'd asked for his creative vision on. He did not disappoint and I left with yet another great piece of art on my skin. Overall, all the staff at this studio are incredibly friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere is great and everyone is very good at their jobs. They definitely smashed preconceptions I'd had about tattoo studios being intimidating or overwhelming. I would absolutely recommend them, especially Jamie, and I will definitely be back again.”

“Popped in today just to see if there was anything new. My other half bought a shirt and t shirt and as I was leaving I spotted a nice winter jacket in the window. Heading back into the shop they didn't seem to have my size. I always feel uncomfortable asking for assistance but I plucked up the courage to ask if they had it in a medium in the stock room. Without fuss, she checked the stock and said they were supposed to have one somewhere? Together we worked out it was probably the one in the window. Sure enough it was! Without hesitation the lovely assistant stripped the dummy and handed it over! One very happy and grateful customer here...thank you”
