“I cannot thank Matthew and his amazing team more for the last 2 years. My braces journey (18 months with fixed braces top and bottom) is officially complete! It's been an emotional one! I had not visited a dentist since childhood. I was petrified in all honesty. I couldn't even wait in a waiting room with my children for their check ups. After reading a review of this practice I decided if they could do it I would also give it a go! I was desperate to have a shiny new smile for my 40th birthday!! My wish has finally come true!! 2 years ago I started my journey at this amazing practice. It took everything I had to even pick the phone up to find the information but when I did I didn't regret a thing! Vanessa, Jo and the reception team are amazing! They have listened to my constant questions throughout my treatment (via phone and a lot of emails!!). They have all supported me through the treatment I needed before my braces were fitted. I have never felt more welcomed or at ease at any dental practice. I have had a lot of treatment of my teeth and even though I was anxious I had literally nothing to worry about. Every appointment I had was supported by Matthew and his amazing team. They definitely got used to my ways and I learnt many many techniques to relax throughout the appointments and felt at ease from the start. It's been a long but supported journey and I could not be happier with the results! I love my new smile and I got it just after my 40th birthday which was the icing on the cake!! If I can go through this journey anyone can! Do not hesitate if you've never visited a dentist before or you're anxious about it, there is nothing to worry about! You're in great hands! Matthew is the best and his team are amazing! I'm going to miss my appointments every 8 weeks. They became part of my life. End of a chapter. I really cannot wait to enjoy my new smile and I can definitely encourage anyone debating it to just do it!!”

“Karl has been cleaning our house fortnightly for the last few months. I first approached him to ask about a deep clean of the house - something that a lot of other cleaning providers insist need to be done before a regular cleaning service could start. Karl clearly explained why he thinks this is unnecessary, and that he could get the same results over a series of visits instead. He was absolutely right, and has saved us hundreds of pounds! We’re really pleased with Karl’s work: he’s conscientious and thorough, and always asks if there’s anything in particular that we’d like him to pay attention to. Karl’s work makes a big difference to our experience of our house, and it helps that he’s great fun too! He always clearly communicates, and is happy to fit around our needs. “I had my bedroom, landing and stairs carpets cleaned by Ben from Amaze Cleaning Services yesterday. I have two long haired cats so Ben was very reassuring that the professional products used were not harmful to pets or children. I thought the carpets had seen better days, but they've come up looking like new, even the pile of the carpet in areas of heavy wear looks rejuvenated. I would highly recommend Amaze Cleaning Services and will be getting them back to do my sofas and area rug soon.”

“My exhaust fell off and so my car arrived on a recovery vehicle. Other reviewers have stated that this garage is good in an emergency, and so it is. I phoned and they were happy for my car to be dropped off there. The Garage has its own large car park and has the feel of a large operator like Halfords but is actually an independent garage. My exhaust was fixed by closing time at a reasonable price and I would definitely go there again.”

“I recently underwent orthodontic work at Fresh Dental Smile Clinic. I have been unhappy and conscious about my two front teeth since I was a child as they overlapped the teeth behind and stuck out. “I went to screwfix as an ignoramus. I measured everything, had taken photos and had some idea what I wanted. The guys at Screwfix, Monks Cross were superb! They didn't treat me like an eejit, they were very respectful, knowledgeable and honestly, could not have done any more for me. They showed endless patience and solved all bar one of my problems. The one unsolved problem, they gave me suggestions on where to go for the part I need. I was really worried about going into a place like this, knowing what I wanted but not knowing how to ask for it and looking a complete idiot. I won't have those worries again, thanks to the guys at Monks Cross Screwfix, one of which was Tom, didn't get the other guy's name, but he had a grey beard. I will from now on, continue to go to Screw fix every time I need some, safe in the knowledge I am likely to get exactly what I need, with expert advice, all at a reasonable price. Faultless Screwfix, thank you again for your patience, expertise, understanding and professionalism, very impressive.”

“I haven't been to a barbers in years- I shave my own head and used to do my own face. I've just been letting the beard go wild, but it recently went from "mountain man" to "cult leader" so I thought it was time for a tidy up. Headed here based on other reviews and thought it would be worth a go. Booked via Booksy- dead easy and convenient. Arrived on time and got a cracking beard trim. Twenty minutes, full works- no nonsense. Neatened up perfectly (and my beard is all kinds of awkward) and finished with a straight razor and hot towel the old-fashioned way. Great value too. I wouldn't know about head hair, not having any myself. But if it's as good as the facial hair work, do it.”
