“Clean, spacious cafe serving a good variety of food. The tables and chairs were obviously regularly cleaned. I only had a small breakfast but a nice touch was the additional glass of juice that came with every breakfast as well as a tea or coffee. Staff were very pleasant and welcoming. A small play area was in the corner to keep small children occupied if needed.”

“Great quality produce and lovely staff but the lovely lady serving me today went above and beyond when I mentioned I am highly allergic to mushrooms. She had been filling the stock of mushrooms up then not only sanitized her hands but washed them and sanitized again. Very much appreciated by me. See you again later this week. Thank you.”

“Brilliant supermarket for Asian foods you don't get in other British shops. Noodles, different Tofus, Spices and lots lots more! The friendly staff are also amazing & Helpful. Don't waste money on another substandard takeaway, buy the ingredients here and cook yourself a feast.”

“We booked the private field at Larton’s for a big group of us and unfortunately there was a mix up with times, meaning we were almost all turned away without the dogs getting a chance to play. Luckily an excellent staff member ran around and rectified the situation for us so we still got our time in the private field, really going above and beyond our expectations. “Called in on the off chance as we were early for a meeting so decided to get some food and drinks. We were greeted by a young lady who asked if we had a booking a first for a little high st cafe. I assume it gets busy as they serve afternoon tea. I was also pleantly surprised of the hygiene it didn't smell of cooking fat at all and all the surfaces were spotless no greasy residue. Layout was light and airy with great spacing between tables so you was not on top of other customers like a lot of small cafes. The decor was nice and the pastel colours of light pinks made for a relaxing experience and the ceiling was adorned with bunting again very clean for a cafe. The menu catered for all tastes and diet requirements vegan veggie and carnivores all catered for. There is a lot of choice from English breakfast of varying sizes, burgers, lasagne etc and the soup of the day looked amazing "bubble n squeak soup" I do wish I had tried some it looked really good but I opted a full english as the menu mentioned locally sourced free range eggs and I was quiet hungry. The standard breakfast had 1 bacon 1 sausage 1 perfectly cooked oranges yolked egg beans in a ramakin grilled tomato toast a hash brown and we got extra black pudding accompanied with a pot of tea for 2. Top quality ingredients bacon tasted like back back should I never noticed and fat on it sausage was tasty no of those herb just a decent pork sausage again not fat or gristle. I would have preferred a tinned tomato but it wasn't a big deal. Good pot of twinings English tea and a little pot of milk. On of the best breakfast if tasted in a long while keep up the good work great staff. Deffo worth a visit if your in the area”

“Fabulous helps to fight the war on food waste and helps a full time nurse in the NHS to save a few £££'s. I take stuff into work too and everyone loves the food. Can't praise port grocery enough. Wish there was one in every town. I travel 5 miles for it. X”

“Very clean tidy and variety of products. Meats are not cut with automatic saws in the butcher section. You get a meat without bone splinters. As the butcher is his father's profession, he knows his job very well. We only bought a slice of cake in the patisserie section. Would you believe, both fresh and creamy sugar is exactly what we wanted. They said it was the product of Pelit patisserie. I think it's fine.”

“This is my top restaurant in Liverpool — a Greek place with really nice staff and reasonable prices. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve been there! It’s my go-to spot whenever I want to celebrate something. I highly recommend this restaurant if you haven’t tried it yet. The meat sharing platter is one of my favourites too!”
