“I love this pub and its views over the Cheshire plain. It’s everything a lovely, family friendly pub should be. The new menu has so many options I wanted to try on my first visit it took me ages to choose. That’s a great start in my book. Elektra the chef and manager is so passionate about what she does. She’s done all of the redecoration and the pub feels much cosier and it was really warm and welcoming. We went for the Quiz on Wednesday night and had dinner beforehand. For those of you who don’t have the time they provide EPIC chip butties in the break at the quiz which disappeared in seconds to help us with our brain power! It clearly worked as we won. It was lots and lots of fun and cheered me and my sister up immensely. Dinner was delicious as you can see from the photos. I’m going back asap with my taller better half to dive into the burger menu and fish options. My sister will be back with her young family as she thinks it a a great place for a family meal as Harry her ten year old loves calamari and you can’t get any in Frodsham. Bella will love the cheese burger or pizza and the adults will have pie.”

“Recently came here for Sunday lunch. We didn't have a booking but they managed to get us in. It is a gorgeous little pub we had only been once before in the summer they have a fantastic garden area with really pretty views but the decor was so lovely and it really put us in the Christmas spirit. The food was excellent and even had a vegan nutroast which went down very well and so reasonably priced for what you get. The staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We loved that it didn't feel rushed as some places can get like that at this time of year. We will definitely be back again and highly recommend!”

“First time here had 3 course meal food was excellent there where 3 of us and we all agreed about food and all had something different. Service excellent. We went on a Wednesday and very few other people in so very little in way of atmosphere, we are going to go again to try there Sunday buffet. But was busy doing takeaways”

“Wonderful place, just look at the photo of my mixed grill. The service was good, food was great and the place was nice. One thing that I particularly liked is the large menu with plenty of choice. The only thing that I would do to make it even better would be for them to have real chips.”

“I often pop here when it’s only something small that I want as opposed to a large shop. The food from here is lovely, but the main reason I am commenting is because the customer service is beyond anything I’ve ever come across. Chris is fantastic, he’s so so friendly, funny. His communication and customer service skills are beyond anything I’ve come across. I only name him because I feel his employers should see what a fantastic member of staff they have! Honestly I chose to come here other than smaller or sometimes even larger shops just because of how friendly the staff are.”

“This was a bit of surprise as in, there are No mobile devices allowed at all, they try to promote conversion which worked really well. The main reason for my review is the food, it was the Best fish and chips I have ever had with no exaggeration. Highly recommended and we will definitely call again when in this area.”

“When u drive round the country its always good to see a Costa. On Sunday Frodsham town centre was mainly closed apart from this coffee shop. It was almost like it had turned into a community centre, the place full of people with children drawing and playing. Plenty of tables and chairs to relax at and enjoy the lovely coffees on offer. It's always a bit pricey but it's lovely to visit now and again.Have just visited Costa's again in Frodsham and it's now nestled in amongst other Coffee shops.Its still busy with cakes, pastries and great coffees on offer.Always worth a visit.”

“Was passing through and saw this was open. I asked for haddock and chips as I wanted to try the fish and chips, the fish was really good, the batter soft and not too oily, the haddock was chunky and one of the best fish I have tasted. The chips were soft, and even after getting home, the fish and chips tasted really nice. The serving couple was very polite and served the food really quickly. It is definitely highly recommended. The price for a large fish and small chips was less than £9.”

“Didnt eat here but the beer was great! Lovely beer garden that is very large! Plenty of seating, nice atmosphere in and outside. Good music, they had a DJ on who was very friendly and i think was running the quiz. Bar staff were really nice. Parking nearby. All in all, a nice little evening!”
