Easy to miss as the shop is back off the road and the signs indicating the building are directly opposite the shop on the other side of a busy road.The first time I passed it I thought it was boarderd up as it has a wooden cladding with words on that is really lovely when you get close. The shop has everything you need if living locally or visiting the forest or staying at the campsite. The usual basics, milk, bread, tins jars and a good range of WINES AND BEERS, (not a bad price). Dont forget HOT COFFEE! In addition the shop offers fresh hot pies pasties sausage rolls, great cakes and fruit pies. Fresh fruit and veg, newspapers, even lottery tickets. A good little shop carries much of what you need at the usual price for villiage shops and there is no other for miles!”
