I have had my haircut with Michael at Allen’s Barbershop since it opened & will continue to do so. Nice place to be, good atmosphere & very clean. Highly recommend booking an appointment with Michael, minimal to no delays in getting on the chair, always seem to be on time and efficient. The new booking system now makes it easy to book an appointment.”

“Rusty absolutely loves his walks with Steph, Sarah and Chloe. He is quite an anxious dog but when he gets picked up he doesn’t even give me a second look before dragging Steph to the car. The team always send me pictures of him on his walks and his smile tells me how happy he is.”

“Very good barbers! They helped cut my hair and it looks so much better! The wet shave they offer is also very relaxing and the blade they use is sharp enough to cut through all that hair (I went with a clean shave and I dont think I saw a strand of hair left!) Keep up the good work! I think I'll have to keep coming here to get a good cut shave for a night out with the lads!”

“THE 'DAWN' OF A GREAT HAIR-DAY - My financial circumstances changed therefore I could no longer afford to patronise the high-end, exclusive and expensive hair salon I used to. As all Ladies know, a 'good' hair-dresser is a necessity not a luxury because all of us want to look our best and having our hair looking its best not only enhances our entire 'look' but also gives us self-confidence and self-esteem which are both important for our mental and emotional health so the hunt was now on for me to find a local hair salon that I could afford on my very strict budget so I consulted Google Chrome for a five-star rated local salon and one came up which had five-star reviews on all their reviews and that impressed me and gave me confidence that my hair would be well taken care of and I was right. The Salon is: 'drum-roll'........ Dawn Claire Salon, 82 Parrock Road, Echo Square, Gravesend, Kent, DA12 1QF. I made my appointment and went last week and was immediately impressed by the location, decor and immediate attention and smile I got as soon as I stepped in from a lovely Lady who ushered me in-to a beautifully stylish, contemporary and fully equipped salon. I was immediately checked regarding my name and appointment, offered refreshments and all the cordial, complementary enhancements politely and kindly which impressed me and put me at ease that I am in the right place. My hair got serviced on-time and that impressed me as I have been to salons in the past where you are kept waiting for ages after your appointment time. I was asked questions about my hair, what I wanted and my hair was examined too which told me that they were highly qualified professional hair-dressers and I was right! My hair was excellently dealt with professionally and no time was wasted and all the staff I came in-to contact with were professional, polite, friendly, kind and efficient and the atmosphere was organised with every-one working and working well as a team, controlled, relaxing and pleasant and the toilet area I used was squeaky clean which told me a lot about the very high standards there which I was further impressed with. When my hair was finished I was astounded and in shock because my hair was such a diabolical mess when I came in that I thought it was impossible to make any-thing of it so I am now their new Client for life and with all honestly the high-end expensive salon I used to go to comes second to this one!! I can-not recommend them highly enough to every woman who cares about her appearance and wants to look the very best she can at any age and stage of her life as I do and the 'icing-on-the-cake' is that on my budget, I can afford it!!”

“I met Louisa, when she was using a shed in her parents garden. She had just qualified, I found her when I met her mother dog walking and said how beautiful her standard poodle cut was. I asked if she could do my Bedlington terrier, as I wasn't happy with the cuts given by other groomers in the area. Over 30 years she has groomed my 5 Bedlingtons, I have just lost my 17 year old. I like to think I helped her love of Bedlingtons and her achievements in their grooming. Louisa is excellent with all breeds and I recommend her highly.”

“Sometimes you just hit the jackpot when finding someone randomly on google. Delroy was super polite and easy to communicate with and book using WhatsApp. Delroy and his son Dylan were at our home 15 minutes early and waiting for it to be 0930 before ringing our bell. And then they did an outstanding clean of our driveway and rather large and dirty patio. The pricing was reasonable and great value for money. All the work was done efficiently and to a high standard - and with a smile. I've already recommended him to other friends and put a note on my diary to book them next year”

“Air con broke down on way to Devon during heat wave. Local shop told me there was a leak in the system and couldn't be fixed in time for my departure. We have toddler and no air con in this heat was inconceivable. Called Caroline at Paynes Cars on our way home and from the first word she was absolutely awesome, helpful and knowledgeable. She squeezed me in for an assessment on the same day and everything was sorted in a giffy. There was no leak and the car is blissfully cool again. Can't thank the team at Paynes Cars enough. “Another great meal at Bartellas. Love this place! We ordered some olives which were delicious and a generous portion and a bottle of Picpoul de Pinet which was excellent. I had a lunch of chicken saltimbocca with mushroom sauce and garlic potatoes, my friend had an amazing burger and we shared a side of spinach. We had tea and coffee afterwards. The staff are excellent as was the service and friendliness of our fabulous waitress, Vendi. Well done team!”

I started with crispy poppadoms and mango chutney dip, a delightful beginning to our feast. My Special Biriyani (a generous serving of tender chicken, lamb, and prawns) was perfectly complemented by a flavourful vegetable curry sauce and peshwari naan. The combination was nothing short of perfection. My meal was rounded off with a refreshing glass of apple juice, adding the perfect finishing touch to the evening. What truly made the experience special was the incredible hospitality. I had the joy of greeting my cousin and the wonderful staff, including the talented chefs, who pour their hearts into every dish. Meopham Tandoori is a gem that deserves every accolade, and I will most definitely be returning with my family for another unforgettable meal. Highly recommended!”
