“This gem of a local cafe, situated in the Battle of Britain Bunker visitor centre, is a lovely spot to drop into for a quick cuppa, maybe a slice of cake, or a freshly made sandwich. The food is always tasty, the prices entirely reasonable by London standards, and the service never anything less than first class. And this is a standard it's been able to maintain from the day it first opened its doors.”

“You have to visit here. There's no other place like it. The menu is very reasonably priced, you'd find it hard to beat and they make really good voffee. My dad first took me here about 50 years ago. It has alot of history. On today's visit I tried the food. Chicken Curry was good. The whole bill was value for money.”

“I’ve been having treatments with Kai and Abi since moving to Rickmansworth, and I couldn’t recommend them more! Kai has given me pregnancy massages as well as full-body and hot stone massages. She always pinpoints exactly where the pain is and explains how to relieve it beyond just massage. I even recommended her to my father-in-law, and thanks to her treatments he has made remarkable progress since his stroke. Over the past year, Kai and her team have worked hard to improve his circulation and muscle movement, and we’ve seen a real difference in his independence and mobility. I’ve also had treatments from Abi, including regular eyebrow waxing and tinting, as well as her incredible Korean facials. “Wonderfully friendly staff, Kate and her team provide a lovely, engaging environment and produce excellent haircuts. Being open late on Thursdays and Sunday means that it always possible to walk in and get a really good haircut. Going in at peak times might mean a wait but then I find I get drawn into the conversation or banter and the time flies.”

The quality of the food was outstanding, and I was pleasantly surprised by how many delicious vegetarian options were available — everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Our waitress was fantastic as well. She was warm, attentive, and made great recommendations without being pushy. Her service really added to the experience. If you’re looking for great sushi with plenty of veg-friendly choices and excellent service, this place is a must-try!”

“Booked a groupon initially for a facial and was recommended lasergenesis for my skin in addition to the cleansing facial I had booked. I went ahead and have since booked a package deal. All I can say is that the team is wonderful, and the treatment and now the several Lasergenesis treatments have worked wonders for my complexion. It's radiant. Highly recommended and will be booking other treatments too.”

“Joe and his team are absolutely wonderful with my dog. They demonstrate a real love and understanding of all dogs. You can see it in the way that the canine customers mingle happily together either waiting their turn or waiting to be collected. Until recently, when we sadly lost one of our westies, both went to Happy Hounds on a regular basis. I always know that my dog will come home looking beautiful and not at all stressed by the experience. Early opening hours are also such a bonus. I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else.”

“Was in Uxbridge for an evening and after looking through various places, I came across this gem of a restaurant. Read through some of the reviews and decided to give it a try and wow the QUALITY of the food is top notch. Ordered spring rolls which had a heavenly taste to them, chicken tawouk with rice which was cooked to perfection with the chicken so soft and succulent and had a side of cheesy fries which were the best cheesy chips I've ever had. On top of all that, the two waitresses serving us were very warm and welcoming. 5 stars all round.”

“Firstly I'd like to mention Shakshi. She is an absolute gem and lovely person. Since we've being dinning at Social Dhaba, which is now several years, she's been there and is an asset to the establishment. Her level of service, warmth and attention to detail is exemplar and makes our experience so much better. The food here is always on point. Perfectly balanced flavours and ever never had a dish that we've not enjoyed. We get a real variety of dishes from the menu, including the mix grill, salmon, basil paneer, avocado chat, garlic prawns, tardka dhal and some naans and breads. However, the best dish has to be the Handi Chicken curry. It's just amazing and a defo must. From the desserts, you have a selection of the classics, all of them fantastic so you can't go wrong. This place is regular for me and is always a place I recommend to others and take family and friend's to when in need for a really good Indian.”

“Yesterday we visited Al Hyderabadi Mandi & Biryani, and honestly, the experience was amazing. The ambience was very clean, comfortable, and welcoming. We ordered Lamb Mandi, Apollo Fish, and Chicken 65, and the taste was absolutely delicious — every dish was fresh, flavourful, and cooked perfectly. Alhamdulillah, we really enjoyed the food.
