“A restaurant with delicious and authentic Thai fare. The two of us were stuffed with one appetizer, a meat dish and a bowl if rice. Didn't check the wine list but soft drinks are pretty affordable. Dishes were served hot and freshly prepared. The server kindly offered chopsticks yet it was a little inconvenient to use with plates not bowls. One thing worth noting was that the heater wasn't strong enough to warm us up - girls sitting next table needed to cover their knees with coats.”

“Great first time experience. A family of 5 including a year old toddler. Everyone had something to relish. I saw it online after a quick search and I am not disappointed at all. Conscious, friendly and attentive staffs, neat environment and well cooked meals. Spent a little over £100 but we were full to the brim and had to ask for takeaway packs...lol. “I have been using L`Antico for many years, as have many of the faces I see there every week, In the last few months there have been a spate of Malicious reviews that seem fake as the description given for the restaurant does not match the actual restaurant. before that time the reviews are good Google have a responsibility to check the authenticity of these reviews and make sure they are from verified users most of the reviews in the last few months are from people that do not have a profile and have only made one or two reviews in most cases the second review is advertising a service of some kind I believe these reviews are fake and have been generated to damage a small family owned business the bad reviews started a few months ago some while the family were closed for their annual holiday below are a few examples and a correction of their description of the venue I could have put more corrections from that period but the text was to long for google reviews Marie Deniger asked for a quite area for 8 people, the restaurant is one big open plan room, she states she was seated next to the kitchen door , there is no door to the kitchen, the entrance to the kitchen is behind the bar, she states the chairs are plastic , the chairs are made of wood, she states that her uncle's soup was cold, but there is no soup on the menu, she says she ordered a birthday cake,as far as i know the restaurant does not buy in birthday cakes however I have seen customers bring special cakes in this type of occasion.(with the owner's consent) (description is inconsistent with the actual restaurant) Zacharie Gendoron states the carpet was stained and frayed, there is no carpet in the restaurant, he states the walls are faded, the wall are brilliant white (see website photo) he states that several lights were broken and flickering, there are no lights that are broken or flicker, he states he was seated at a table that was still dirty from a previous customer, i have spent a lot of time in the restaurant and as soon as a diner leaves the tables are cleaned and wiped and reset (description is inconsistent with the actual restaurant) again 1 review Dylan Rowley states The restaurant's interior looked tired and dated, with worn upholstery the photos of the restaurant on the website are up to date, he states he was uncomfortably cold. his review was from a month ago(height of summer) his description of the food is either to hot or to cold almost as if he had asked AI to generate a bad review, he also states that he had to wait 45 mins for his starter, i have never seen anyone wait more the 10mins for a starter, and that includes days when there is a Chelsea home fixture review from 1 month ago, again description is inconsistent with the actual restaurant Danyelle J Williams states she was seated in a cupboard next to a toilet, the restaurant is open plan you cannot sit next to a toilet you can however sit near a room that leads to the toilets you have to go in to a room separate form the dining area and then in to a toilet both doors would have to be open (main door is spring loaded to close, and then the diners would have to be silent then if you are lucky you might hear a flush, she states prices have increased i don't know one business that is immune from prices increases, she states the the pizza size has shrunk, i have had many pizza`s over the years they remain the same size they ever were, a pizza cannot have a cold top and a hot underside that's not how a pizza oven works ( unless you are having a topping added after it has been cooked like rocket) she states that her dessert never arrived, the dessert display is in the centre of the restaurant you can almost reach it with an outstretched arm the staff are always in the centre of the of the restaurant so this is unlikly, review from 1 month ago, again description is inconsistent with the actual restaurant visit L`Antico and see for yourself then write a verified review based on a real experience”

“Visited for the first time this week for a birthday celebration. Booked a table through Google, easy and convenient. The mezes we had were really good, everyone enjoyed them. Almost all of them came with pitta bread. When it came to mains I had veggie spaghetti and was pretty blant, mostly consisting mashrooms and not very tasty ones, would not recommend. My other half had grill and he enjoyed it. My girls had plain spaghetti and soup of the day- tomato soup. Service was attentive and friendly. Didn't have dessert as cake was waiting at home. Atmosphere was very nice and welcoming.”

“Their pizza is very good trust me! And their price is also cheap but the most amazing thing is their wedges is also damn tasty! Their pizza quality and price is affordable . Their food quality is awesome .their pizza dough is very soft and crunchy. We ordered pepperoni pizza and chicken pizza 2 7” inch pizza and wedges (actually wedges were so nicely toasted and tasty that I forget to take that picture and yes if they can up the quantity of wedges then it will be much better.”

“Amazing place to eat purely based on food quality. Makki di roti and sarson da saag was scrumptious. Bread pakoras, samosa, Paneer pakodas were delicious. A reviewer did say that chhole had a bite to it, which is true. But, it still is ok and doesn’t ruin the taste. One thing they could probably work on is seating. We shifted from uncomfortable place near the door to a better seat named “Ravi”. Yes, seats are named after the rivers. Overall, a great place to enjoy good quality food.”

Since moving to Loughton I tried all the local Chinese and decided to stop eating it as it all tasted like total trash… this Chingford Chinese one however had lots of veg types (in Loughton it seems the only vegetable they know is onion) and also generally just tastes good and fresh and very hot too! “We were recommended to them by friends. Really pleasantly surprised. Friendly lady took our order and it was correct. Food was still hot when got it home twenty mins later. We will probably get delivery next time. The food was delicious and this is why...in our opinion...it was not sitting in lots of sauces (each dish) it was not soggy. It was not full of monosodium glutamate. So, food tasted good and we were thirsty all night! Noodles, beansprouts and meat was crispier and not covered in sauces. Food was good portion sizes and under £20 for four dishes. Finally, premises looked clean and they are rated well for cleanliness.”

“What a welcomed surprise at the Founders Arms. My mom and I took our first trip from the sunshine of Florida to a late November cold winter visit to London. We were so blessed to have stumbled upon this amazing place while on a personal walking tour with a friend who lives in London walking from Buckingham Palace to see the Change of Guard, to Big Ben and now across the Thames to this part of town. Neither she or her colleagues have ever visited this Pub so it was a first time for everyone. We immediately walked in from the bitter cold and were greeted with warmth and hospitality. Once our party of 3 were sat down, we had had a prime spot away from the crowded bar and middle tables and were placed closer to the back area. This was ideal because we had a river view of the Thames that opened up to a postcard picture of the city with people walking by on the outside. Not only did we get placed in a great spot, our server OLLIE was a complete gem. His service was impeccable, thoughtful and genuine. He also made us feel welcomed and not as tourists. He laughed with us and gave us some inside information on other things to see and do around Borough Market. The menu was all Gluten Free and that worked perfect for my friend’s dietary needs. What also worked was that my mom and I wanted to experience our first Pub meal of the famous “Fish and Chips.” We knew London was famous and well known for this simple meal, but when it arrived at our table, we were shocked that this was like a King/Queen sized meal that was unexpected and with their smashed peas. I didn’t know this was a thing, but Hulk Smash all the peas because they were good. The whole meal was WOW! My pictures do not do it justice. We even ordered my mom’s meal To-Go back to our flat. It actually stayed hot and was very well packaged for the journey. Kudos to the chef and the staff. Be prepared to spend at least 30£ per person as a side note. In the UK, the tip is already included so expect to be treated like royalty. Ollie was amazing in service. I’m so sorry to have waited this long to write about our experience, but it’s finally here. If he forgot something, he quickly apologized and brought it to the table right away. He also gave some helpful suggestions when trying some of the non-alcoholic drinks. The Apple and Elderflower was out of this world and so was the Hot Honey and Pineapple drink that my friend ordered and I had a sample sip. Wow! Whoever came up with these drink menus are to be commended. I mean wow. They were quite expensive for the first time guest, however we now know what to expect. Thank you Ollie and the Founder’s Arms for making our first trip to a Pub memorable, exciting, fun as well as giving us our first taste of London.”

“It was our 1st visit to check out this new takeaway cum dine in, in Crayford. Opened 4 months ago. Serves Peri Peri Chicken with rice or Naan bread. Chicken curry, Biryani, and etc. Prices are very good. Totally recommended.”

“Fantastic food! I agree with the other reviews, I would have missed it had I not seen the reviews about it being downstairs and located outside the hotel. I had to wait a few minutes for the door to be answered but once inside the food and service did not disappoint. I would come back again. The butter chicken was fantastic”
