The MOT and service was completed in good time, and Mr Siddiqui sent video clips of what was done e.g., old parts that were replaced ... once again his style is open and transparent in a good way. He does not sub-contract his work which I like and feel my car is in safe hands. No hard sales and I was getting an honest and reliable service. Previously I went to garage that had good reviews but started to cut corners, overcharge and overtime for what ever reason was less transparent/helpful esp when subcontracting without being open about it.... so I looked else where naturally. I found this place based on the google reviews, gave it a go and now I recommend as it saved me the headache, of trying to find a reliable, affordable and transparent mechanic in London. The mechanic checked it out and said it was a quick fix – got it done in about 1 hour 45 mins even though the garage was really busy. I was getting quoted £160–£220 elsewhere, but Bancroft only charged £110, which was amazing for the quality of work. He also went out of his way to bleed the clutch, clean everything up, and make sure the battery casing and wires were all secured properly. The staff were funny, helpful, and honest – no messing around or trying to overcharge. Proper trustworthy garage, would 100% go back again!”
